      SOLUTION: The apparatus comprises electing a plurality of hollow cylindrical filter elements 12 in a treatment container 11, connecting a treated waste liquid supply pipe 18 for supplying treated waste liquid loading the laundry waste liquid with a granular activated carbon into the treatment container 11, connecting purified water discharge pipes (connecting pipe 16, branch pipe 15, collecting pipe 17, connecting line 23, purified water discharge line 24) for discharging the purified water treated by the filter element 12, and also connecting a removing air supply source 28 for removing used granular activated carbon attached to the outer face by supplying the removing air from the purified water discharge pipe into the filter element 12, wherein a fin 51 dividing the granular activated carbon attached to the outer peripheral face of each filter element 12 into a plurality of small block bodies is installed.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration of heat recovery efficiency by adjusting flow resistance of primary cooling water flowing through a heat transfer tube bank in regard to a steam generator, and a flow resistance adjusting method for the cooling water in the steam generator.
      SOLUTION: The heat transfer tube group 38 comprised of a plurality of heat transfer tubes 37 comprising reverse U-shapes and carrying the primary cooling water is arranged in a shell 31, and an end of each heat transfer tube 37 is supported by a tube plate 33. By fixing a lower part semi-spherical mirror part 39 to a lower end of the shell 31, an inlet side water chamber 41 communicated with one end of each heat transfer tube 37 is provided, an outlet side water chamber 42 communicated with another end of each heat transfer tube 37 is provided, and two flow resistance adjusting plates 51, 52 are detachably provided as flow resistance adjusting means for the primary cooling water, on an inlet nozzle 43 provided on the inlet side water chamber 41.

SOLUTION: A pair of openings 9, 9 are punched in a cylindrical wall of a volute diode 5 putting an outflow hole 5d in between. Therefore, the flow reduction of emergency cooling water at the injection initiation caused by the production error of the volute diode 5 is prevented and a plenty of emergency cooling water necessary for core cooling and the like can be surely emergency-injected in the reactor.

Also, as for the amplitude of water surface swing at the time of earthquake occurrence, as water surface swing restraining plates 8 are provided at the water surface part of the water distribution reservoir, the amplitude of swing becomes small, and impact pressure and water head pressure change are restrained, and the damage of the concrete wall 1 is prevented.

SOLUTION: A gate is closed by an operating apparatus when a water level at the main river side 22 rises (during flood) above that of a tributary side 21. Air is supplied as air bubbles to the lower portion of a pumping pip 2. Water at the tributary side 21 is pumped up to the main river side 22 by the air lift effect. the pumping pipe 2 has a construction of the inside of gate branched to a plurality of portions. A siphon construction watercourse 3 is provided at the outlet side of the pumping pipe 2. This watercourse 3 is bent by 180 degrees approximately in an upper portion 4, and the flow direction is smoothly changed from upward to downward. Height of discharge ends 5 are made smaller by ΔH1, ΔH2, ΔH3 than the upper portions. Pump head identical to the liquid head of the height is reduced and flow resistance at the outlet portion of the pumping pipe 2 can be decreased by the siphon effect and the pumping efficiency can be maintained and improved.
