    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tuning system for tuning an operation of a gas turbine.SOLUTION: The tuning system comprises: operational turbine control means for controlling plural operational control elements of a turbine, and controlling at least one of turbine fuel distribution or a fuel temperature; and a tuning controller communicating with the operational turbine control means. The tuning controller is configured to tune the operation of the turbine in accordance with the following steps: receiving operational data about the turbine, providing a hierarchy of tuning issues, determining whether sensed operational data is within predetermined operational limits, and producing one or more indicators. If the operational data is not within predetermined operational limits, the tuning controller ranks one or more indicators to determine a dominant tuning concern, and tune the operation of the turbine based on the dominant tuning concern.

    • PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for mounting of a sensor in the vicinity of a burner and to eliminate limitation of the installing condition of a boiler, by a method wherein a pressure detecting device, which detects a change in a pressure produced in a combustion chamber occasioned by ignition and failure in ignition of the burner, is mounted to a fuel feed piping. CONSTITUTION:Feed water 4, burner fuel 5, the air 6 for combustion, and pilot fuel 7 are fed from a ground to a boiler 1 installed to the forward end of a cylinder 2, ignition is effected by an ignitor 8 to reduce steam 3, and exhaust gas 9 is exhausted to a ground. A signal from a pressure converter 10, attached to a fuel feed piping 5, is sent through a filter and an amplifier 12 to a frequency analyzer and/or a differentiator 13 where the presence of combustion vibration frequency and/or impulse pressure wave is detected, and a deciding and processing part 14 decides ignition or failure in ignition of a burner to provide a control signal 15. This eliminates the need for mounting of a sensor in the vicinity of a burner, and enables elimination of limitation of a boiler installing condition.
