    • PURPOSE:To eliminate the waste of materials and to shorten a stop time in formation by forming projections in specific shapes at the ending terminal part of one blank material for a needlelike fin and at the starting terminal part of the other blank material, and welding those projection parts one over another. CONSTITUTION:The ending terminal part 2s of the needlelike fin blank material 2 is superposed upon the starting terminal part 12a of another blank material 12 and they are cut with a cutter, etc., as shown lines A-A and B-B; and the projection parts 11 and 11a which are nearly as wide as the remaining uncut parts as wing parts for a heat conduction pipe are formed at the ending and starting terminal parts 2a and 12a. Only those projection parts 11 and 11a are superposed upon the blank materials 2 ans 12 without any breadthwise shift between the blank materials 2 and 12 and the overlap parts are welded together. This jointing method secures enough strength against tensile force in winding to the heat cnduction pipe and manufactures the successive heat conduction pipe with the needlelike fin.

    • PURPOSE: To control the diameter of a circular pipe upon resuming of molding after interruption in the midway of molding and to enable the remelting of the joint, by providing an adjusting roll which can move the circular pipe to a die in the forming part of molten metal by an electroslag melting method.
CONSTITUTION: The solidified metal part 8 after rotation at one turn is moved in the direction of an axial center 6 by means of inside and outside rolls 3, 4 provided to a water-cooled copper die 1 in the forming part of molten metal so that an ordinary radius R for forming the molten metal having a difference between the solidified metal part 9 after rotation at two turns and an allowance (d) for shrinkage of a joint is made at the position of the forming part 7 of molten metal when the molding of a circular pipe is interrupted on the way of molding by inserting a start piece 13 mounted to a rotary table 12 into the die 1, penetrating the molten metal therein and pulling the molten metal while rotating the table 12 around the center 6. The table 12 is formed movably eccentrically with respect to the movement of the part 8 by the above-mentioned operation and the movement in the vertical direction of the product is supported by a roll 10 with vertical adjustment, whereby the interference in the rotation of the table 12 is prevented.

    • PURPOSE:To develop a small-sized and inexpensive automatic welding device for welding of structures wherein the positions and attitudes of joints change by mounting three units of traveling carriages which move an automatic welding device in three-dimensional space and a sensor and a welding torch swivelably thereto. CONSTITUTION:In the stage of welding a member 41 of an elliptical shape or the like in section to a curved member 40, a mounting frame 1 is fixed to the flange part of the member 41, and traveling frames 2, 4, 5, 6 for the 1st traveling carriage 7 are mounted. The 2nd traveling carriage 9 and further the 3rd traveling carriage 12 in parallel therewith are mounted to the carriage 7. A welding torch 16 and a detecting sensor for swiveling commands are mounted to the carriage 12. A weld line is detected with the detecting sensor for swiveling commands, and the commands for the movement of the carriage 7 in the X-axis direction, the movement of the 2nd carriage in the Y-axis direction, the movement of the 3rd carriage in the Z-axis direction by the moving member 10 mounted to the carriage 9 and the movement for these carriages around a rotating shaft 15 are emitted. The intricate joint parts are automatically welded stably by the movements combining said movements.

    • PURPOSE:To enable production of fins which decrease the pressure drop and improve the thermal efficiency by forming the tooth crest and bottom land of the tooth profiles of a pair of forming rolls which are meshed with each other into circular-arcuate shape, and forming and crooking a blank material at the space between the same. CONSTITUTION:Profiles which are meshed with each other are formed on the outside circumferences of forming rolls 17, and the circular-arcuate grooves 29 are inscribed respectively along the tooth trace on the tooth crests 26 thereof and the bottom lands 30 thereof are also formed into a circular-arcuate shape. A square fin part 28 conducted between the land 30 and the groove 29 is grasped under pressure and is formed into a round bar shape. A needle fin 33 formed into a round bar shape is crooked alternately reverse along the thickness direction of a blank material 27. Said material 27 is a belt-like plate formed with rectangular openings along the transverse direction at a specified interval and is formed with square fins 28 having a rectangular bar shape. The fins which decrease the pressure drop and improve the thermal efficiency are thus produced.
