    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a call control server and a communication system which are highly reliable and continue call connection even if a call control server fails, without requiring a memory device for storing a call control log temporarily, thus lowering the possibility of system stop.SOLUTION: During normal operation, second terminal information of a second IP terminal controlled by other call control server is transferred therefrom, and when failure occurs in communication between other call control server and the second IP terminal, for example, telephone number of a destination, i.e., a first IP terminal, is received from the second IP terminal, and address information corresponding to the telephone number of the first IP terminal, transmitted therefrom and stored, is searched and transmitted to the second IP terminal. Consequently, an external memory device is not required, and communication between first and second IP terminals is enabled even if fault occurs in other call control server.
