CONSTITUTION:The remote supervising equipment of a numerical value control device (NC device) 2 is composed of storing parts 3-4 such as a transmission activation condition storing parts 3, etc., and a transmission activation condition judging means 7, etc. This transmission activation condition storing part 3 stores the transmission activation condition in case that the work of an electric discharge machine 1 is finished, abnormality is generated or a specified code is executed in the program of the NC device 2. A transmitting data storing part 4 stores the selecting data of transmission and a dial number storing part 5 stores the facsimile telephone number of a transmission opponent destination. The above mentioned judging means 7 always inputs information such as the working condition, etc., of the NC device 2, and judges the coincidence with respective transmission activation conditions. Then, the said condition being coincident is outputted to an access means 8 and a dialing means 9. Thus, NC data are transmitted by a telephone line 13.

    • PURPOSE:To improve work efficiency, by measuring a tilt and machining reference point of a work for a movable table reference axis and performing rotational change process of a control coordinate system. CONSTITUTION:A tilt (a) and cut piece (b) of a work for XY reference axes of one reference surface 78 are calculated by a measuring device 76, then a tilt a' and cut piece b' for XY reference axes of the other reference surface 80 are calculated, on the basis of these calculation, the coordinates of a machining reference point 82 are calculated. Then at a point of measuring time of the surface 78, the XY reference axes are processed with rotational conversion by a rotational conversion processor 74 so as to agree with the reference surface of the work. In this way, a control coordinate system is automatically converted in accordance with the work mounted on a movable table, and a time required by a start of machining can be reduced while high accurate positioning can be performed.

CONSTITUTION:In case of such wire cut discharge machining process as making one of the wire guides provided both above and below a workpiece to move relatively to the other one and slanting the wire so as to apply taper fabrication on the work, tranfer speeds FU and FL of wire guide 18 and work piece are controlled so that a relative speed between a workpiece and wire may constitute a specified machining feed speed F at an arbitrarily specified elevation of workpiece thickness l1. When the transfer speeds FU and FL of the wire guide and workpiece exceed the mechanical constant values of each drive system, the speed of a drive system which exceeds the constant value is assumed to be its upper limit and reverse calculation is performed, thereby controlling the speed of each drive system so that they may not exceed their constant values.

The instrument 48 is made of a constructive material and is laid directly on a workpiece holder 30. A circuit 24 which electrically detects the contact between the electrode 24 and instrument 48 includes a power supply E, resistors R1 to R3, a capacitor C and an amplifier A. The circuit 54 is connected to a numerical control unit 56, which controls the amounts of movement of the holder 54 and an upper guide 20 in the X- and Y-directions. With this construction, the verticalness of the electrode 24 can be set automatically and precisely.
