    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid phase diffusion welding method for a steel bar completing an isothermal solidification process in an extremely shorter time than that in the gas pressure welding of a prior art and obtaining a weld joint excellent in bending strength.SOLUTION: The liquid phase diffusion welding method by the high-frequency induction heating of a steel bar includes steps of applying constant initial pressure P1 in a range of 15-100 MPa to a section where steel bars embracing amorphous alloy foil butt to each other, thereafter raising the temperature of the butting section by high-frequency induction heating, and applying upset pressure P3 that is 40-150% of P1 to the butting section so that a ratio L/D of an upset quantity L and a diameter D of the steel bar before liquid phase diffusion welding becomes 0.1-1.2 and that (expression 1) and (expression 2) below are satisfied when the pressure of the butting section reaches lower limit pressure P2 which is 30-95% of P1.
