      SOLUTION: The loading device 11 loads a disk 22 using a slot system, and has an insert and eject mechanism 30, a retreating mechanism 35, and a controller 40. The insert and eject mechanism 30 moves a disk inserted into the slot 21 to the loading location. The retreating mechanism 35 moves the disk in the loading location to the retracting position. The controller 40 makes the retreating mechanism 35 to move the disk in the loading location to the retracting position when another disk is inserted, and after completely moving to the retracting position, makes the insert and eject mechanism 30 to move the other disk to the loading location.
