A first component formed by mixing 100pts.wt. high-molecular com pound having at least two active hydrogen atoms (e.g., polyetherpolyol) with 1-40pts.wt. said chain extender, a catalyst, a blowing agent, a foam stabilizer, a flame retardant, etc., and a second component comprising a polyisocyanate having at least two isocyanate groups (e.g., tolylene diisocyanate) are fed to a reaction injection molding machine reacted and cured to obtain a (non) expanded polyisocyanate molding.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the discharging of hardly decomposable organic chlorinated compound to the extremity by a method wherein the opening of an exhaust gas introducing passage for a secondary combustion chamber is provided so as to be eccentric to the center line of a secondary combustion chamber outwardly so that the exhaust gas, from a primary combustion chamber into the secondary combustion chamber, generates whirling stream in the secondary combustion chamber. CONSTITUTION:A secondary combustion chamber 8 for effecting complete combustion of exhaust gas from a primary combustion chamber 9 is communicated with the primary combustion chamber 9 through an exhaust gas indroducing passage 10. The secondary combustion chamber 8 is provided with a cylindrical configuration having the center line thereof in the vertical direction while the opening of an exhaust gas introducing passage 10 for the secondary combustion chamber 8 is provided so as to be eccentric to the center line of the secondary combustion chamber 8 so that exhaust gas is introduced from the primary combustion chamber 9 into the secondary combustion chamber 8 tangentially to the cylindrical surface of the secondary combustion chamber 8 to generate whirling stream in the secondary combustion cahmber 8. On the other hand, the opening of an air supplying passage 11 for the secondary combustion chamber 8 is provided so as to be eccentric to the center line of the secondary combustion chamber 8 outwardly so that supplying air for the secondary combustion chamber 8 is introduced tangentially into the secondary combustion chamber cylinder and whirling stream is generated in the secondary combustion chamber 8.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain the subject compound from aniline and formaldehyde at a low cost by extracting and separating an aqueous layer separated from a reaction product with a water-insoluble organic solvent, separating and recovering the solvent, aniline and the subject compound from the solvent layer and recycling the materials to the reaction system. CONSTITUTION:The subject compound is produced by (1) condensing aniline and formaldehyde using hydrochloric acid as a catalyst and neutralizing the condensation product with excess sodium hydroxide based on the used hydrochloric acid, (2) separating the obtained reaction product into an aqueous layer and an oil layer by allowing to stand the reaction product and washing the oil layer with water and (3) separating the product into layers and finally removing water and aniline from the layer by an aniline-removing process. In the above process, the oil component in the aqueous layers (i) and (ii) separated from the reaction product is extracted with an essentially water-insoluble organic solvent, the extraction product is separated (4), the solvent (c), aniline and the objective compound are separated and recovered (3) from the solvent layer (v) and each component is recycled to extraction step (4), condensation step (1) or aniline-removal step. The organic material content in waste water can be decreased and the recovery of aniline and the yield of the objective compound can be improved.
