摘要： PURPOSE:To enhance safety by making use of the resultant of judgement made for the condition of such items as a vehicle suspension, the closing motion of doors, and the closing action of a main switch as the condition which allows the tilting-up of a handle, i a vehicle where the tilting-up the steering wheel makes a driver get on and off the vehicle with ease. CONSTITUTION:Following means are provided: they are a vehicle suspension judging means 1, an inside door and an outside door closing judging means 2 and 3 which form a judgement for the closing motion of both and inside and an outside door knob, an IG-OFF judging means 4 which forms a judgement as to whether an ignition switch is off or not, and wheel hold judging means 5 which forms a judgement as to whether a steering wheel is held to a desired position in height. Resultants from the above said judging means 1 through 5 are inputted into a steering wheel tilt judging means 6. And when the output from either the said judging means 1, 2, 4, and 5 or the said judging means 1, 3, 4 and 5 permit either No.1 tilt judging means 6a or No.2 tilt judging means 6b to output a wheel tilt judgement signal, a wheel tilting means 7 is designed to be actuated.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow the large positional relation change between a column hole and a steering gear box by connecting a rubber-made ring part for regulating the hole for passing a steering gear box through in close contact thereto to a rubber-made dust seal body through a rubber-made bellows part. SOLUTION: A dust seal 11 has a hole 13 for passing a steering gear box in close contact thereto, and the hole is regulated by a rubber-made thick ring part 15 surrounding it. The ring part 15 is connected to a rubber-made dust seal body 19 through a rubber-made bellows part 17 continued to the circumference of the ring part 15. According to this, the allowable displacement of the steering box in the parallel direction to the center axis of the ring part 15 is increased, and the dust seal 11 can be made into a compact form.

Also, an upper arm 13 forms a passage hole of a damper 17, while the outer end 13b of the arm 13 is supported on the upper end of the wheel carrier 11 and the inner end 13c thereof supported on a sub-frame 18 respectively via a support mechanism 19 having a plurality of elastic bushes and the like. Furthermore, a lower arm 14 has the outer end 14a supported on the lower end of the wheel carrier 11 and the side end 14b thereof on the sub-frame 18 respectively via the elastic bushes.

SOLUTION: For the construction of a brake-pedal support bracket 20, a left support plate 21 and a right support plate 22 are connected together at their substantial middle places 21c and 22c by way of a brake booster 11 so that the left support plate 21 is disconnected from the right support plate 22 according to the situation, a shaft 23 is juournalled at both its ends to the support plates 21 and 22 so that its one end 23b is disconnected from the right support plate 22 also according to the situation, a brake pedal 24 provided on the shaft 23 is offset to the left support plate 21, and a bracket 25 mounted on the shaft 23 is connected to the operating rod of the booster 11. These support plates 21 and 22 are fixed to the body of a vehicle so that the right support plate 22 has higher supporting rigidity.

摘要： PURPOSE:To usually obtain a sutable roll rigidity by connecting a cylinder having a rod capable of freely reciprocated with one of the ends in the longitudinal direction of the title stabilizer for suppressing a roll fixed between both vehicular wheels and controlling the driving according to the vehicular speed so as to freely change the elastic coefficient of the stabilizer. CONSTITUTION:Suspension parts of respective vehicular wheels 1-4 have shock absorbers 5, 6, a pair of right/left start bars 7 and a stabilizer 8 connected to the respective strat bars 7 at the both ends thereof. In this case, one end of the stabilizer 8 is fixed to one of the strat bars 7 and the other is connected to the other strat bar 7 through a stabilizer control cylinder 9. The cylinder 9 is connected to respective two-divided oil chambers through an oil supply passage from a switch valve 14 to an on/off valve 9a. When the car speed exceeds the specific value, the valve 9a is opened so as to maintain a piston rod 9A in the central region, thus enhancing the elastic coefficient of the stabilizer 8.

摘要： PURPOSE:To assure the driver with easy getting on and out of the car by furnishing a means to fix the steering shaft to a set angle of inclination, and a means to fix it to an hopped-up angle when fixation is released. CONSTITUTION:When a parking brake switch 1 and a door open/close switch 2 are turned on, a get-on/out judging circuit 4a in a control circuit 4 gives a get-out signal 4c to an actuator drive circuit 4b. This circuit 4b gives now a fixation release signal 5 to an actuator 7, and its output lever 8 is rotated clockwise. Thereby an inclination angle fixing pin 12 is drawn out of a fixation hole 14, to release inclination angle fixation of a fixing lever 104. This lever 104 is swung up by a hopup spring, and when it attains maximum inclination angle, a hopup angle fixing pin 103 is detained in a corresponding fixing hole 105, which causes the steering wheel 19 to be fixed in the hopped-up position.

Although the tip portion of the upper bracket 18 tries to rotate along an arch having radius R, bearings 20, 21 rotate such that eccentric collars 23 fixed to respective shafts 16, 17 come on an arch having radius of R and center coinciding with the center of the inner ring of a bearing 21, and thereby the upper bracket 18 rollers smoothly.
