    • PURPOSE:To provide a traverse-turning type traveling continuous unloader with excellent economy allowing unloading work on one side and alongside-pier work or the like on the other side to be performed side by side on a pier where bulk carriers can be respectively brought along both sides of the pier. CONSTITUTION:A traveling continuous unloader installed on a pier 03 allowing bulk carriers 01, 02 to be respectively brought along both sides of the pier is provided with a turning A-frame 2 provided, in the traversable state through traverse drive mechanism, on a travel gantry 05 on which the unloader can travel along the pier; a rising/falling boom 4 driven in rising/falling motion with the center part thereof pivotally supported on the turning A-frame 2 while having a vertical unloading part and a balance weight 5 on both end sides; and a finned conveyor 6 provided on the rising/falling boom 4 in such a way as to be able to cope with the increase of a boom elevation angle. When the turning A-frame moves into a position close to either one of the side parts on the travel gantry 05, unloading on one side is performed, and at this time, the elevation boom 4 is put in action within a range of the side end part of the balance weight 5 of the boom 4 not going over the quaywall line on the opposite side.

    • PURPOSE:To correctly grasp the residual amount and the discharged amount of the bulk cargo by obtaining the coordinates of the height of the bulk cargo surface above the representative reference coordinates based on the linear approximation from the coordinates of two measuring points above the bulk cargo adjacent to the reference coordinates, and measuring the shape of the upper surface of the bulk cargo as the net-shaped three-dimensional data. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of reference coordinates P1, P2 and PDELTA1-PDELTA4 are set at equal interval K from the position zero of the oscillating angle on the reference level plane 21 of the region to be measured of the bulk cargo 20, and an oscillating type distance and angle measuring instrument is oscillated as the target measurement points. The distances L1, L2 from a detecting part of the measuring instrument to the point of measurement on the bulk cargo and the angle of oscillation are measured for each reference coordinate, the results are transmitted to a connecting device, and the coordinates of the points of measurement above the bulk cargo are obtained based on the distances L1, L2 and the angle of oscillation. The coordinate gpDELTA2 of the height of the bulk cargo surface above the respective reference coordinates is obtained from two coordinates of the points of measurement on the bulk cargo adjacent to the reference coordinates, and the upper surface of the bulk cargo 20 is measured as the net-shaped three dimensional data to grasp the residual amount of the bulk cargo.
