    • PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of seizure and cracks at a fitting part by providing ceramic coating to the outer circumferential surface of the taper neck- part of a roll and the inner circumferential surface of a sleeve, in a oil-film bearing constituted of a roll journal-part and a bearing box. CONSTITUTION:A taper sleeve 3 is fitted to the outer circumferential surface 2a of a taper neck-part 2 of roll 1, and is tightly fastened and fixed to the neck- part 2 by a sleeve holder 9 and a lock nut 10, and a shell 5 surrounding the outer circumference of sleeve 3 is internally attached to a bearing 4. Next, lubrication-oil supplying holes and oil feeding ports are formed at the box 4 and the shell 5 respectively, to form an oil-film bearing between the sleeve 3 and the shell 5. At that time, ceramic coating is provided to the outer circumferential surface 2a of neck part 2 and the inner circumferential surface 3a of sleeve 3. In this way, fretting phenomena at the fitting parts of the outer circumferential surface of taper neck-part and the inner circumferential surface of taper sleeve are eliminated, thereby preventing the generation of seizure and cracks at the fitting part.

    • PURPOSE:To straighten the strain of a strip plate and to elevate the accuracy in thickness by giving a rolling function to at least one pair of the upper and lower rolls and by widening the straightening limit thereof in the roller leveller arranging multiple rolls to perform a shape straightening with pressing a strip plate from the up and down. CONSTITUTION:A strip plate M is flattened with being bent in zigzags by upper and lower roll groups 5, 6 and with removing an inner part stress. A rolling function is given by a rolling reduction mechanism 10 by opposing the at least one pair of upper and lower rollers 9a, 9b among the roller groups 5, 6. The shape accuracy is improved with giving an elongation to the strip plate M by a rolling and the residual stress is removed with giving a bend by other levelling rolls. By giving this rolling the straightening limit of the strip plate is enlarged.
