    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tilting pad bearing equalizing the load share of each pad even if the bearing is continuously used.
      SOLUTION: This bearing 10 includes: a first leveler 14 supported at a fulcrum L1 by a housing 12 and having a fulcrum a1 and a fulcrum b; and a second leveler 15 supported at a fulcrum L2 by the housing 12 and having a fulcrum a2 and a fulcrum c. The pad 11A is supported at the fulcrum a1 of the first leveler 14 and the fulcrum a2 of the second leveler 15 through a load transmission body 13. The pad 11B is supported at the fulcrum b of the first leveler 14. The pad 11C is supported at the fulcrum c of the second leveler 15. A bearing load received by the pad 11A is shared with the pads 11B and 11C, thus equalizing the load share of each pad.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding bearing oil scraper having a longer life while reducing a torque loss due caused by friction. SOLUTION: The sliding bearing oil scraper 61 is arranged in opposition to the bearing face of a rotating shaft or in opposition to bearing faces 5a, 5b of a thrust collar 5 provided at the rotating shaft for decreasing lubricating oil flowing from the upstream side. The scraper has a tapered face 24 inclined toward the reverse face in a range from the surface front end to the surface rear end. As a result, the durability and gas sealing properties of the rotary sliding part are improved.

    • PURPOSE:To apply a uniform nipping pressure to a plate-like object to be processed by an arrangement in which a pipe is inserted over the outer surface of an inner cylinder of a roll, and the outer circumference of the pipe is enclosed by an outer cylinder having a thin wall and the pressure fluid supplied into the pipe. CONSTITUTION:A pipe 6 comprising long and soft material is wrapped in a shape of a coil around the outer surface of an inner cylinder 5 of the processing roll. The outer circumference of the pipe 6 is enclosed by an outer cylinder 7 having a relatively thin wall. The pressure fluid is supplied inside the pipe 6 through a cavity 11 and tube 10, and the pressure inside the pipe 6 can be regulated by a fluid pressure regulator. As the pressure of the pressure fluid which is supplied into the pipe 6 can be regulated, the resistance against the deformation of a shell of the outer cylinder 7 can be adjusted by the inner pressure. Therefore, the deformation of the outer cylinder 7 can be maintained uniform in the direction of its axis, and the pressure which is necessary to process an object 3 which is to be processed can be controlled freely.
