    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an artificial tidal flat for conserving the marine environment by laying an artificial tidal flat formed of a tidal flat part having an inclined surface and a flat height part on plural piles stood in the water bottom, and placing concrete having the porous structure in a surface of the tidal flat part and the height part. SOLUTION: An artificial tidal flat 1 formed of a tidal flat part 1a having an inclined surface and provided adjacent to a sea level S and a flat height part 1b connected to the tidal flat part 1a is laid on plural piles 2 stood on the sea bottom (g), and the porous concrete 5 is placed in a surface of a stratum 4 formed on the artificial tidal flat 1, and furthermore, beach sand 6 is laid thereon. In the artificial tidal flat 1, the marine environment similar to the natural tidal flat is formed by a difference between the ebb and flow of the tide, and since the porous concrete 5 placed in the surface has multiple narrow holes inside thereof and has the porous structure that the sea water and air are easily flowed through it, sea weeds and shells can adhere to the porous concrete 5 for reproduction. Consequently, many kinds of fish and organism can live in the artificial tidal flat so as to produce the marine environment and to improve the general marine environment.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the influence of an earthquake by forming a ballast tank portion inside a caisson pier and by connecting water volume adjusting means for adjusting water volume by filling water into and discharging it from the inner side of the ballast tank portion. SOLUTION: A plurality of caisson piers 1 supporting a bridge girder 2 by the upper portion and placing the bottom portion on underwater ground g1 are provided. And a ballast tank portion 1c is formed inside the caisson pier 1, and a ballast pump 5 for regulating water volume by filling ballast water inside and discharging it outside is connected to a ballast tank portion 1c. Because of this, water volume in the ballast tank portion 1c is adjusted by the ballast pump 5 thereby varying the buoyancy of the caisson piers 1, permitting the adjustment of installation pressure to the ground g1 . Therefore, the installation work for bridge piers can be simplified, water contamination and environmental destruction can be reduced and, even at the time of occurrence of an earthquake, the bottom of the caisson pier sitting on the bottom and supporting ground make a relative motion and the influence to the superstructure such as bridge girder or the like can be reduced.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anchor chain-type floating body mooring device wherein the breakage of the mooring chain is prevented even when used in shallow water areas. SOLUTION: A hole-shaped installation portion 100a is provided near the four corners of a floating body 100 and a bracket is provided at the upper inner portion of the installation portion 100a. A base end of an arm 13 is rotatably supported at the protruded end of the bracket 11 via a shaft 12 and an elastic fender 14 is provided so that it protrudes near the aforementioned corners on the lower inner portion of the installation portion 100a. A plurality of sinkers 1 are fixed to the sea bottom 102 with one end of a mooring chain 2 tied to the sinker 1 while the other end of the mooring chain 2 is tied to the tip of an arm 13, respectively. By abutting the elastic fender 14 with the tip side of the arm 13 and thus controlling the rotation of the arm 13 so as to push it back, when the tip of the arm 13 rotates the abrupt tension applied to the mooring chain 2 can be buffered by the elastic fender 14 via the arm 13.
