    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a circuit constitution by forming an a.c. amplitude estimation value, controlling a controller to make zero an error between the value and an amplitude value of an a.c. signal to be detected, and obtaining the amplitude value from an output. SOLUTION: A phase advancement circuit 5, receiving a voltage signal from an a.c. voltage detector 4, outputs a shift phase voltage signal having a phase advanced by a predetermined amount. A multiplier 14 and a multiplier 15 operate respectively a first, a second a.c. estimation signals by multiplying a first a.c. reference wave of the same phase as that of a voltage signal output from a trigonometric function calculator 13, a second phase-advanced a.c. reference wave output from the calculator 13 by an output of a controller 11. An output of a subtracter 6 becomes a difference of the voltage signal and the first a.c. estimation signal, and an output of a subtracter 7 becomes a difference of the output of the phase advancement circuit 5 and the second a.c. estimation signal. These outputs are multiplied by the first, second a.c. reference waves, and the results are added thereby obtaining an output at an adder 10. The output of the controller 11 as an integrator is changed so that the output of the adder 10 becomes close to zero, whereby the output is nearly equal to the voltage signal, and an amplitude value of a target voltage is detected.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generating system capable of stably supplying power of a predetermined amount to a power system with to an infinitesimal power change or an abrupt power change of a generator. SOLUTION: The power generating system comprises the generator driven by a natural energy such as a wind power; a wave motion or the like for generating a power to transmit power to the power system; a rotating machine connected to a flywheel to convert the power into an electric power to compensate for power of the generator; and a power change suppressing means for extracting a power change waveform increasing or decreasing in association with a change of an electric power amount generated from the generator, forming a power waveform smoothly changing based on the power change waveform, and calculating the power change waveform and the power waveform to decide the power amount to be compensated by the rotary machine. Thus, the power amount can be easily compensated for a relatively large power change from the abrupt or infinitesimal power change. Hence, the power generating system for stably supplying the power of the predetermined amount to the power system with high reliability can be realized.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shape the waveform of electric power flowing from an AC power source in a sine wave even when the AC power source contains harmonic distortion, by suppressing the harmonic current component which is caused by the harmonic voltage distortion of the AC power source and flows in a capacitor from the power source. SOLUTION: An adding circuit 13a generates the current command value Iref of a current control circuit 8, by adding the output of a current command value generating circuit 7 to a harmonic current command value Ihref outputted from a harmonic current command value generating circuit 12 in a capacitor flowing-in harmonic current suppressing means 20, and the circuit 8 outputs a voltage command value Vref which controls an inverter 2 to make the current Ifb matching the current command value Iref. to flow. Consequently, the inverter 2 outputs the harmonic current component of the electric current, which is caused by the harmonic voltage distortion of an AC power source 1 and flows to the connecting point between a reactor 4 and a capacitor 5, and shapes the waveform of the electric current Is from the AC power source 1 to a sine wave, by offsetting the harmonic current component of the electric current Is from the power source 1 having a polarity which is opposite to that of the outputted harmonic current component.
