    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensorless control device for AC electric motors wherein it is possible to accurately control speed and torque by closed-loop speed control and q-axis current control in a high-speed range, improve dumping by stopping the operation of the q-axis current loop in a low-speed range, and suppress vibration at constant speed and at a stop. SOLUTION: In the sensorless control device, a speed controller 3 outputs an F/Bq-axis current command from estimated speed and F/F speed. A speed control output switching device 7 outputs an F/B-axis current command in the high-speed range of a motor and outputs a predetermined fixed value C1 in the low-speed range. Both dq-axis current controllers 10, 9 carry out current control and output an F/Bdp-axis voltage command. A q-axis current control output switching device 12 outputs an F/Bq-axis voltage command in the high-speed range of the motor and outputs a predetermined fixed value C2 in the low-speed range. A voltage coordinate transformation unit 14 transforms a dp-axis voltage command to generate a three-phase voltage command. A current coordinate transformation unit 17 transforms the current of the motor 16 and outputs a dq-axis current.
