SOLUTION: After the resetting of a CPU at its operation starting time (ST1), the rotational condition of an engine is detected (ST2), and when the rotation of the engine is not more than a specific threshold value, the recognition finish condition of a regular code signal is cancelled (ST3), and it is made in the receiving waiting condition of the above code signal, and the code signal is discriminated, and when the regular code signal is received, the process of the code signal recognition finish is carried out newly, so as to carry out the ignition control (ST6). When an abnormal condition of the CPU is detected, the CPU is reset (ST1), to return to the rotational condition detecting step of the engine, so as to carry out the above control flow again. When the CPU is malfunctioned by going to start the engine irregularly, the code recognition finish condition is released and no ignition control is carried out, because the engine is not in the rotation, even though the processing of the code recognition finish is carried out.

No change occurs in Vca after flow rectifying from the normal state of the battery 3 in a winding ratio VN3 between the first and second secondary winding wires 6b and 6c, VN3 is changed according to Vc but Vcc is not changed in the smoothing circuit 10.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the stop of an engine ignition control due to the instant turning off of CPU resulted from a noise or the like by carrying out the ignition control during the rotation of an engine, and the receiving of a cord signal and the distinguishment of whether it is right or wrong during no rotation of the engine. SOLUTION: Whether an engine is rotating or not is distinguished, and in the case where the engine stops at the time of starting, whether a received cord signal coincides with a normal cord signal stored in an ID memory section 13 or not is distinguished, and in the case of their coincidence, a CPU 12 permits an ignition control to a CDI basic circuit section 14. On the other hand, in the case where the CPU 12 is brocken clown on account of the abnormality of a watch dog signal from the CPU 12 or the breaking down of a power source, the CPU 12 is reset and the engine being in rotation is confirmed. When the engine being in rotation is distinguished, second cord recognition process is unnecessary. Thus in the case of the instant turning off of the CPU during the rotation of the engine, which can return to the ignition control without carrying out the second cord recognition process for preventing the stop of engine ignition control.
