摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology of a digital camera that can properly correct shading reflecting a characteristic of an interchangeable lens. SOLUTION: The digital camera 1A includes the interchangeable lens 3 and a camera body 2 to/from which the interchangeable lens 3 is attached/detached. A ROM 35 in the interchangeable lens 3 stores vignetting data particular to the interchangeable lens 3 and emission pupil position data. Further, a control section 29 in the camera body 2 stores body sensitivity reduction data with respect to reduction in the surrounding illuminance on the basis of a dependence of a CCD 23 on an incident angle. Shading is corrected for photographing image data acquired by the CCD 23 on the basis of the vignetting data, the emission pupil position data and the body sensitivity reduction data. When the reliability of the emitted light quantity by the FM control is low based on the parameter information being the error factor, the camera CPU 301 decreases improper dimming by relaxing or releasing the restrictions of the dimming quantity by the TTL automatic dimming.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform photographing of an image having adequate exposure even though a user changes the direction of a camera and a movable body moves after focusing is locked by detecting the change of a composition obtained after the focusing is locked and controlling the exposure of the image on which photographing is performed in accordance with the change. SOLUTION: Assuming that an object is positioned in the range-finding area 2 of a range-finding module when focusing is locked, thereafter, a user changes the direction of a camera and the object is positioned in a range-finding area 1 just before photographing. In this case, the change of a composition is detected by comparing the detected distance of the range-finding area 2 when the focusing is locked with the detected distance of the focusing area 2 just before the photographing. The detected distance of the range-finding area 2 when the focusing is locked, is compared with the detected distances of the range-finding area 1 and a range-finding area 3 just before the photographing to recognize that the object is positioned on the range-finding area 1 just before the photographing. In this case, the weight of the photometric area of a photometric module corresponding to the range-finding area 1 and the weight of the photometric area around the same are made large in exposure control.
