      SOLUTION: The stepping motor 1 has a constitution, where a magnet 6 is fixed to the outer peripheral face of a sleeve 4 mounted on an output shaft 3; a rotor 2, to which the magnet 6 is fixed, is arranged freely rotatable with respect to the inner periphery of a stator 10; a holder 21 formed, by loosely fitting a cup-shaped base 22 and a cap 23 and storing a coil spring 24 in its inside; the holder 21 is interposed between a bearing 9, which supports the output shaft 3, and the sleeve 4; the holder 21 is formed of a reinforced polyamide resin; and a member of proper slidability is interposed between the holder 21 and the bearing 9.

      SOLUTION: In the claw-pole stepping motor where one substantially cylindrical rotor having a central shaft is surrounded by two cup-shaped stators from the opposite end faces of the rotor, each stator has at least one magnetic coil and two sets of pole teeth group coupled magnetically with a magnetic phase difference of 180° electric angle at the forward end of pole teeth. Both stators are bonded while facing each other, and two sets of pole teeth group are coupled magnetically by the bearing of the central shaft.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent leakage flux by providing a yoke member for passing flux from both magnets between a plurality of permanent magnets provided at a rotor. CONSTITUTION:A ring-shaped magnetic shield plate 30 is engaged to the outside of a rotating magnetic pole 9 and driving current is applied from an electric motor drive circuit provided on a substrate 1 to a stator coil winding 22 to generate a rotating magnetic field at a stator magnetic pole 21, thus rotating a rotating disc 7 by the mutual operation with the exciting flux from the rotating magnetic pole 9. Then, the exciting flux from a permanent magnet reaches an S pole of the other permanent magnet through the magnetic shield plate 30 provided inside the circumferential part of the rotar from the N magnetic pole. Then, it passes through the opposing stator magnetic pole 21 via a gap from the N pole of the permanent magnet, passes through a yoke part 31 at a root and the stator magnetic pole 21 opposing the permanent magnet, and then returns to the S pole via the gap, thus drastically reducing the magnetic reluctance of a flux passage route and at the same time reducing leakage flux.

The armature assembly has a first ring, formed of a soft magnetic material, accommodating a plurality of pairs of salient poles and a second ring, formed of the soft magnetic material, accommodating the first ring.
