摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operation feeling of a transmission in a downshift operation and in an upshift operation in a low temperature, and prevent the jump out of the gears. SOLUTION: A gear chamfer 8b has a tip chamfer which is opposed to a sleeve chamfer 32b and is formed asymmetric in the circumferential direction. The tip chamfer comprises a longer chamfered section 8c along the same direction as the rotational direction R1 of an output shaft and a shorter chamfered section 8d along the opposite direction. The angle θ3 of the longer chamfered section 8c to the circumferential direction and the angle θ4 of the shorter chamfered section 8d to the circumferential direction meet the relation θ3 >θ4 . The sleeve chamfer 32b has a tip chamfer which is opposed to the gear chamfer 8b and is formed asymmetric in the circumferential direction. The tip chamfer comprises a longer chamfered section 32c along the same direction as the rotational direction R1 of the output shaft and a shorter chamfered section 32d along the opposite direction. The angle θ1 of the longer chamfered section 32c to the circumferential direction and the angle θ2 of the shorter chamfered section 32d to the circumferential direction meet the relation θ1 >θ2 .

摘要： PURPOSE: To prevent a lockup clutch from wearing in an early stage by providing an adjusting means adjusting connecting force between an engine output shaft and a turbine output shaft so as to be in the fixed slip condition, and prohibiting adjustment of the connecting force in the case of speed ratio of a torque converter being over a fixed value. CONSTITUTION: A torque converter additionally provided in an automatic transmission is provided with a lockup clutch, and the lockup clutch is controlled to be one of a relased condition, a perfectly connected condition, or a fixed slipping condition, by controlling supplied working pressure with a duty solenoid valve 123. In this case, signals of a vehicle speed sensor 301, an engine speed sensor 303, a turbine speed sensor 305, and the like are input to a controller 300, and hence the speed change ratio of the torque converter is obtained. When speed change ratio is larger than a fixed value, connecting force adjustment making the lockup clutch to be in the slipping condition is prohibited, and the lockup clutch is changed to the released condition or the perfectly connected condition.

摘要： PURPOSE: To favorably execute shift operation at shifting when one friction element is connected and the other friction element is released, in an automatic transmission provided with an oil pressure chamber for release of a first friction element having oil pressure chambers for connection, and release. and a second friction element having an oil pressure chamber communicated to the oil pressure chamber for release. CONSTITUTION: At shifting 2-3 or shifting 3-2, a shelf pressure during shift operation of a 3-4 clutch 53 is controlled through an oil pressure in a release chamber 54b of a 2-4 brake 54, by a first duty solenoid valve 121 controlling working pressure supplied to a connection chamber 54a of the 2-4 brake 54. In addition to it, the holding time of the shelf pressure is controlled by a second duty solenoid valve 122 controlling working pressure supplied to the release chamber 54b and the oil pressure chamber of the 3-4 clutch 53, so that a time required for smoothly changing turbine rotating speed to the rotating speed after shifting is insured.

In the case of inputting a pressure of oil to a connecting chamber of the low reverse clutch 21 by the second shift valve 72, since a pressure of oil is simultaneously input also to a servo release chamber 35c, simultaneous connection between the 2-4 brake 18 and the low reverse clutch 21 can be avoided.

There are provided a rotation-restrictive pin 47 and a rotation-restrictive part which are engaged with a transmission cover 3 or the output shaft 6 through the shift fork 36, a transmission case 2 or a noise/vibration proof spacer member and restrict the rotation of the braking member 43.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the weight of a car body from being one-sided to front wheels with a bonnet kept low in height by arranging the center of gravity of both an engine and a transmission at the position of the car body rearward from front wheel axles in such a way that the output shaft of the transmission and a center differential gear shall be coaxial. CONSTITUTION:A transmission 2 is arranged on a car body rearward from the axial centers of front wheel axles 10L and 10R, and an engine 1 is arranged rearward on the car body. This permits a power unit center to be positioned rearward on the car body considerably apart from the axial centers of the front wheel axles 10L and 10R so as to prevent the weight of the car body from being one-sided to front wheels 11L and 11R so that running stability and the like can thereby be enhanced. In addition, a center differential gear 7 is so arranged as to be coaxial with the main shaft 5 of the transmission 2, and a transfer mechanism 12 is arranged at the side of the casing 3 of the transmission 2. This therefore prevents both of the transmission 2 and the engine 1 from being arranged upward in particular to avoid interfering with the transfer mechanism, thereby making it possible to make a bonnet low in height.
