    • PURPOSE:To facilitate cooling of arcs and enhance the arc extinguishing performance by furnishing an arc commutation part in a position on the side with a movable contacting piece, and elongating this arc commutation part a certain distance backward from the position where the movable contacting piece stops at the time of pole opening. CONSTITUTION:When a stationary contact A1 and movable contact B1 which are closed, are turned into open state, arcs Z are generated between the two contacts A1, B1 and run over arc commutation parts 1, 2 to receive a magnetic attraction force generated by electromagnetic path parts 5, 6 in the direction of the arc commutation parts 1, 2, and thereto current is commutated. Arc Z forms a W-shaped electromagnetic path with the arc Z between the stationary contact A1 and arc commutation part 1, the electromagnetic path parts, 5, 6, and the arc Z between the movable contact B1 and arc commutation part 2, and electromagnetic repulsive forces are generated in the arcs Z's in the directions shown by the respective arrows. Therefore, the arc Z on the side with the movable contact B1 moves to near the intersection D, which is generated by drawing down from the position, where the movable contacting piece B stops, to the arc commutation part 2, by moving the arc commutation part 2 till the intersection D, and arcs Z are cooled and extinguished.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the formation of a shunt circuit by providing a holding projection in the cover of a mounting frame side and also providing a receiving hole to be fit for the small part of the holding projection in the cover of the opposite side to the mounting frame side. CONSTITUTION:A positioning hole 24 is formed in a mounting frame 2 and at the same time a rotation hole 42 which is smaller than the hole 24 is formed in the base end of a cradle 5. Also, a holding projection 17 having a small part 19 to be fit for the hole 42 of the cradle 5 at the tip end of a part 18 is provided in the cover 7 of the frame 2 side, and at the same time further a receiving hole 21 to be fit for the part 19 of the projection 17 is provided in the cover 8 of the opposite side to the position of the frame 2. And since the position of the frame 2 and the position of the cradle 5 relative to a body 1 are determined with the projection 17, the mutual position of an operating handle 3, a movable contact element 30 and a bimetal 22 which are positioned with the frame 2 relative to the cradle 5 is stably determined, this circuit breaker may be made an opening and closing mechanism which is small in the dispersion of dimensions.

    • PURPOSE:To facilitate the wiring between a current transformer and a zero- phase current transformer, and indicate or externally transmit cable run information without requiring another equipment. CONSTITUTION:A current detecting circuit 3 outputs a first detection signal corresponding to the current value detected by current transformers 9 interposed in R-phase and T-phase cable runs 23 except S-phase to a control circuit 5, and a leak current detecting circuit 4 outputs a second detection signal corresponding to the zero-phase current value detected by a zero-phase current transformer 10 to the control circuit 5. The control circuit 5 converts the first and second detecting signals into digital signals, determines the cable run information containing the current value and leak current value of the cable runs 23, and outputs it to a display circuit 6 and a transmission circuit 7. The information transmitted to the display circuit 6 is displayed on a display part 13, and the information transmitted to the transmission circuit 7 is outputted to an external monitoring equipment such as a central monitoring board.
