SOLUTION: A resistor comprises a resistor base 11 of a ceramic material, a resistor body 12 provided on the resistor base 11, lead terminals 13 connected to both ends of the resistor body 12, an incombustible coating 14 coating the resistor body 12, a thermoplastic resin tube 15 covering the incombustible coating 14 and the lead terminals 13, weldings 16a and 16b welding both ends of the thermoplastic resin tube 15, except where it covers the incombustible coating 14.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a resistor surface from being raised to a high temperature, even in the case of impressing with a high current by a method wherein metallic terminal parts are arranged on both ends of a metallic resistor at a specific resistance, value, and then the resistor is contained in a ceramics-made case to be sealed with an insulating material. SOLUTION: A rectangular ceramics-made case 14 made of alumina, etc., having two notches 17 opened to one aperture face 16 is formed. Meanwhile a sheet-like metallic body made of copper nickel alloy is cut off to form a paper strip type resistor 11 having a desired resistance value, and the first and second terminal parts 12, 13 made of a press-folded metallic body are welded on both ends of the resistor 11 to be connected electrically. Finally, the resistor 11 and the respective terminal parts 12, 13 are inserted into the notch 17 so as to be vertically with respect to an aperture face 16, so that cement can be set after it has been injected into the case 14 and furthermore until the resistor 11 is fully covered by the cement.
