    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the radiation efficiency of folded antenna equipment having a meander, helical, or spiral shape.
      SOLUTION: A plate-like conductor is arranged between a first conductor 10 and a second conductor 12 to cause electrical field coupling between the first conductor 10 and the plate-like conductor 13 and also between the plate-like conductor 13 and the second conductor 12. Consequently, a current in a direction opposite from that of a current in the first conductor 10 is caused to flow in the plate-like conductor 13 and a current in a direction opposite from that of the current in the plate-like conductor 13 is caused to flow in the second conductor 12. In other words, the current in the first conductor 10 and the current in the second conductor 12 are directed in the same direction and a symmetrical mode becomes dominant. As a result, an input resistance Rf of the antenna equipment 7 can be close to four times, easily establishing matching between the antenna equipment 7 and a wireless circuit connected to a power feeding portion 9.
