    • PURPOSE:To raise the usability of equipment by setting the ratio of air to fuel at the time of burner ignition in response to the temperature of the water supplied to a heat exchanger and igniting in a small number of ignition by reigniting with a different ratio of air to fuel when the ignition fails and using for the next ignition the new ratio of air to fuel by which the ignition is successful. CONSTITUTION:A memory circuit 10 stores beforehand a ratio of air to fuel which corresponds to the temperature of the supplied water detected by a water temperature sensor 2 and by which the ignition performance of a burner 4 is good. A drive circuit 12 controls a proportional valve 5 and a blower 6 according to the detection signal for the temperature of the supplied water. When the flame of the burner 4 is detected by a flame sensor 8 and the failure of ignition is detected by an ignition judging circuit 11, the memory circuit 10 instructs a next different ratio of air to fuel to improve the ignition performance. And the memory circuit 10 renews the ratio of air to fuel by the ratio of air to fuel in which the ignition succeeds. With this arrangement it is possible to adapt for conditions of installation that are different from the conditions of setting memory data.

    • PURPOSE:To provide the control of a proportional valve that is excellent in the response characteristic and accuracy by storing in memory the characteristics of the proportional valve and treating it by calculation at the time of operation, the control being expected to control non-linear characteristics and provide economical effects. CONSTITUTION:A regulation mode is set by a change-over switch 14 in a mode change-over circuit 13, and a temperature control circuit 9 outputs an instruction signal everytime a specified interval passes. A proportional valve 5 that receives this instruction signal through a drive circuit has its output corresponding to the instruction signal measured by a flow rate sensor 6, and the measurements are stored in an output memory circuit 11. When the change-over switch 14 sets an operation mode, the temperature control circuit 9 outputs 2 control signal by signals of a temperature setting device, etc. The output memory circuit 11 controls the proportional valve 5 in high speed by the signal corresponding to said control signals from the data in memory. A correction circuit further corrects the distance of the specified interval and outputs a corrected control signal to control exactly the proportional valve 5.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the operational convenience by providing a main body equipped with an electronic control device, a remote control for controlling the main body, and a means to perform power source control by the use of a means to detect currents in the connecting lines. CONSTITUTION:By turning on a power source switch 34 in the remote control 29 voltages are impressed to a microcomputer 31, its peripheral circuits, and a pilot lamp 36 all in the remote control and a current is made to flow in the lines 28 connecting a main body 22 and the remote control 29. The current is detected by means of a current detective means 27 in an electronic control device in the main body 22. Consequently voltages are impressed to a microcomputer 24 and its peripheral circuits in the main body 22 so as to set the main body 22 in operation. By turning off the power source switch 34 the supply of power to the microcomputer 31 and so on is stopped and a current does not flow in the lines 28 and hence the current detective means 27 detects no current. Consequently the supply of voltages to the main body 22 is stopped. This constitution thus enables controlling the main body by means of the remote control so that an improvement in convenience can be achieved.
