    • PURPOSE:To easily attach and detach plural developing means and to prevent the occurrence of unnecessary mixed color by switching the driving of the plural developing means with the combination and the separation of the developing driving means by the movement of the developing means. CONSTITUTION:In a state where a storage means 30 is drawn out from a main body device, the developing devices 31-34 are inserted respectively along guiding members 41-46 from the right side of the storage means 30 in a nearly horizontal direction and equipped in the storage means 30. The developing devices 31-34 can be attachably and detachably juxtaposed in a direction nearly same as the separating direction of the developing device. By inserting the developing devices 31-34 to a position where the abutting part 141 of the developing device and a holding member 145 respectively abut, the developing devices 31-34 can be held in a non-developing state separate from a photosensitive body 11 with said abutting and the engagement of the engagement parts of the developing devices 31-34 with the respective projection parts of the guiding member 41. Next, the holding member 145 and a positioning shaft 148 respectively abut on a specified position, a little before the attaching of the storage means 30 to the main body is completed, and the holding member 145 is pushed up to an upper position to release holding the non-developing state. Thus, the developing devices can be easily attached and detached.

    • PURPOSE:To uniformly mix and agitate a developer and to contrive to stabilize mixture, agitation and supply of the developer by forming the tip part of a guide plate projecting in a 1st developer chamber in approximately a convex and setting the projecting height of the guide plate so that it becomes lower toward both end parts from the middle in the axial direction of a sleeve. CONSTITUTION:Since the magnetism of a magnetic roller 11 always attracts the developer in a 1st developer chamber 17 in the surface direction of the sleeve 12, the developer in the vicinity of the surface of the sleeve 12 is held and conveyed in the direction of an arrow (b) due to the rotation of a development roller 13. The developer, which is regulated by a layer thickness regulating member 14 to remain, flows in the direction of an arrow (e), and uniformly mixed and agitated in all. Simultaneously the flow in the axial direction of the sleeve 12 is suppressed. Since the projecting height in the vicinity of the both ends of the guide plate 18 projecting from the 1st developer chamber 17 is set low, suppression against the flow of the developer circulating in the surface direction of the sleeve 12 from an arrow (e) decreases. Consequently the fluidity of the developer in the vicinity of the both ends in the axial direction of the sleeve 12 is improved, and the developer is sufficiently mixed and agitated.

CONSTITUTION:A developer support means (sleeve) 12 is provided opposite the photosensitive body 10. A layer thickness control part 18 (blade) for the developer controls the developer supplied from a storage part 16 onto the sleeve 12 to specific layer thickness. A partition plate 24 is provided between the hopper and storage part 16 so as to isolate the both. The storage part 16 is formed of the space formed among the sleeve 12, blade 18, and partition plate 24. Plural holes 29 are formed in the partition plate 24 over its entire surface and the toner is supplied from the hopper 20 to the storage part 16 through the holes 29. A vibrating plate 26 keeps on vibrating during developing operation so as to send in the toner at the upper part of the hopper 20 toward the partition plate 24.

    • PURPOSE:To improve reliability of a nonmagnetic one component developing means by heating a color developing particle sheet in the vicinity of an electrostatic latent image carrying body, sublimating a heat sublimable binder, and thereafter, developing an electrostatic latent image by a developed color particle layer left on the sheet. CONSTITUTION:A develop color particle sheet 33 is carried in the direction as indicated with an arrow B by keeping pace with an electrostatic latent image forming operation on a photosensitive drum 11. Subsequently, it is charged electrostatically to the polarity opposite to an electrostatic latent image charge polarity on the photosensitive drum 11, and reaches between a main electrode 39 and the photosensitive drum 11 in a state that it is heated by a heating means 38. When the color developing particle sheet 33 is heated, a heat sublimable binder 31 is heated, sublimated successively, and a layer of only a charged color developing particle 30 is left on a base sheet 32. Accordingly, the color developing particle 30 charged to the polarity opposite to an electrostatic latent image develops the electrostatic latent image. According to such a developing method, a nonmagnetic one component development which scarcely causes scattering of the color developing particle and fog can be executed.
