    • PURPOSE:To obtain enough thermal efficiency by a constitution wherein a baffle body is arranged in a combustion chamber so as to disturb combustion gas and at the same time to flow along water tubes. CONSTITUTION:The high temperature combustion gas 19 generated in a combustion chamber 4 collides against the lower end of a baffle body 21 and, after that, flows through combustion gas passages 23. In this case, the combustion gas 19 exchanges heat with a second header 2 and water tubes 3 in order and escapes through an exhaust port 16. The combustion gas 19 collides against two kinds of baffle plates 20a and 20b arranged in the combustion gas passage 23, resulting in throttlingly passing through gaps 26b and 27a, each of which is larger than the other gap of the baffle plate. The gas 19 changes its flow direction at the gap 26b, disturbs itself, collides against the water tubes 3 again changes its flow direction at the gap 27a. Similar is the case that the gas 19 flows from the gap 27a to the gap 26b. Accordingly, because the combustion gas 19 changes its flow direction and collides against the water tubes 3 while being disturbed, the thermal transfer coefficient turns to be higher, resulting in improving thermal efficiency.

    • PURPOSE:To enable a temperature detector to always work well obtaining hot- water of high temperature and reducing water which is stirred and mixed with hot-water, by providing a water supply conduit where water fed into a water supply pipe is conducted to the lower part of a heat exchanger and providing a distributing device for feeding some of the fed water to the temperature detector. CONSTITUTION:During combustion of a boiler, water fed from a water supply pipe 6, as shown by arrows (c), (d), is separated into water (d) fed into a water supply conduit 8 and water (c) fed into a space 9 formed between the water supply pipe 6 and the water supply conduit 8. The water moving in the water supply conduit 8 is discharged through an opening 10 at the lower part of a heat exchanger 5. Hot-water of high temperature is obtained from a hot-water supply pipe 7. In the meantime, the water moving in the space 9 is agitated and mixed with hot water in the first header 3 of the heat exchanger 5. A temperature detector 11 always works well so that some of the water from the water supply pipe 6 can be fed to the detector 11 through the space 9.

    • PURPOSE: To attain shortening of flame length, stabilization of flame and reduction of combustion sound by the operations to promote the fine division, despersion and mixture of the fuel, by providing an inverse conical evaporating cylinder and air holes formed by a simple punching operation at the side wall of the evaporating cylinder.
      CONSTITUTION: When fuel is ignited by an igniter 9, the fuel receives air in a large quantity which is supplied for fine division, and is instantaneously and completely burnt. More specifically, since an evaporating cylinder 1 has an inverse conical shape, air supplied to the fuel group to be sprayed is supplied downwardly. Since air holes 2 provided for fine division are directed downward, the evaporating cylinder 1 has smaller diameters at the lower parts and larger diameters towards upper parts, and further an auxiliary combustion cylinder 5 is provided upright with the same diameter, with respect to the evaporating cyliner 1, the auxiliary cylinder 5 is relatively throttled toward the upward. Hence, in an evaporating chamber A the mixing operation is promoted, and at the parts above the tip end of the auxiliary cylinder 5 the gaseous mixture is effectively supplied to the evaporating cylinder. Therefore, fine division, dispersion and mixing are promoted at parts of air holes, and stable blue flame 14 is formed by the downward air injection.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a complete blue flame combustion under a gasification of fuel and a promoted stable flame holding action by a method wherein a combustion cylinder in a burner is defined with its upper part haing a large diameter and lower part having a small diameter, the lower part being a primary combustion chamber and the upper part being a secondary combustion chamber. CONSTITUTION:A combustion air is discharged through air holes 2, 3 by way of air passage 13 and a high voltage spark is generated by an ignition electrode 12. When liquid fuel is injected toward the lower part of combustion cylinder 2 by a pump 7 from an injection nozzle 6 as a group of fine fuel particles 11, an instanteneous ignition of the fuel is performed with a high voltage spark, which causes a blue flame combustion within the primary and secondary combustion chambers 15, 16 under circulating air flow from the combustion air holes 4, 3, and a part of the combustion gas passes through a circulation passage 17 and flows into the primary chamber 15 from the circulation hole 9, resulting in providing a stable complete combustion. Due to an arrangement in which the combustion cylinder 2 defines the primary and secondary combustion chambers 15, 16 with a combustion assistance cylinder 8 under its different upper and lower diameters, an efficient gasification and mixing of the group of fine fuel particles 11 is performed in the primary chamber 15 so as to generate a pressure of gas flow between the secondary combustion chamber 16 and the primary combustion chamber 15, and then a circulation and gasification as well as the mixing of the air and fuel are promoted.

As a result, high temperature combustion gas delivered from the burner passes through the through holes 7', resulting in heat- exchanging with the water tubes 3 and prolonging the retention time of combustion gas in a combustion chamber for the period of time after passing through the baffle 6 at the first stage to that arriving at the baffle 6 at the second stage before passing through the baffle 6 at the second stage. Consequently, because part of the baffles are heat-exchanged while receiving the thermal absorption of the baffles, the improvement of the heat exchange efficiency is contrived.

Thus, particle, sprayed through a nozzle 1, is mixed with a high speed swirl flow through the air injection nozzles 17, formed at a portion having dense fuel concentration, which correspond to a spraying position at the lower part of the evaporating cylinder 12, and is ignited and fired by an igniter 5, and yellow flame diffusion combustion takes place in a proper mixture ratio at a premixture region 20 between the evaporating cylinder 12 and an assist combustion cylinder 18. However, vaporization are momentarily promoted resulting from a rise in the temperature of the evaporating cylinder 12 and the assist combustion cylinder 18 by means of the radiant heat of diffusion combustion flame and collision of particle with diffusion combustion, and circumferentially uniform and excellent blue flame evaporation combustion is conducted in the air injection nozzles 17 at the upper part of the evaporating cylinder 12, which produces a combustion with combustible air amount.

      CONSTITUTION: By means of the radiant heat of a diffusion combustion flame and resulting from a rise in the temperature of an evaporating cylinder 12 and an assist combustion cylinder 18, vaporization and evaporation are promoted in a premixture range 20, and a blue flame evaporation combustion is effected in an air injection nozzles 17 at the upper part of the evaporating cylinder 12, in which there is a combustion inflammable air amount. Further, also after shift to evaporation combustion, a part of exhaust gas, of which the pressure is uniformized by a combustion ring 23, flows around a recycling range 21, and is recycled through recycling holes 22 and 22' to the premixture range 20 and an increase in temperature within the premixture range 20 and on the surface of the evaporating cylinder 12 is practicable. This enables to prevent the stagnation of oil and of adhesion of tar due to shortage in evaporating capacity, and obtains excellent evaporation combustion in a proper mixture ratio of the air to the fuel.
