    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk manufacturing device and a disk manufacturing method for eliminating or reducing the inclusion of air bubbles between a disk substrate and a transfer substrate. SOLUTION: The shape of pits or the like provided on the transfer substrate is transferred to the disk substrate 31 mounted on a disk stage 52. An outer peripheral ring 55 is elevated, the transfer substrate 33 and the disk substrate 31 are kept at a prescribed interval, then a roughly semispherical press fixing pad 57 is lowered to pressurize the transfer substrate 33, and thus the transfer substrate 33 and the disk substrate 31 are press fixed from the vicinity of the center. By lowering the press fixing pad 57 further, press fixation is successively performed to the periphery of the disk substrate 31.
