    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a lining layer from being destroyed or deformed by water leakage after the completion of execution of work, to make water in a shield tunnel flow down smoothly, and to reduce repair work, etc., in a construction method for an ultrathin lining which serves as a secondary lining of an underground structure such as the shield tunnel.
      SOLUTION: In this construction method for the ultrathin lining 1a of the structure, the structure is constituted by joining a plurality of segments 3, 3, etc., together; an ultrathin coating material is applied to a surface of the structure, so that the lining layer 5 can be formed; after or before joint parts 3a and 3a of the segments 3 and 3 are filled with caulking 4, the coating material is applied to the surface of the structure, so that the lining layer 5 can be formed; and after the prescribed curing of the lining layer 5, the lining layer 5 is cut at a prescribed position in a position in which the joint parts 3a and 3a are filled with the caulking 4.
