    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply device for measuring apparatus of transmission/ distribution system which dispenses with the necessity for insulating measures against high voltage, and is capable of taking out electricity from a transmission/distribution line as long as a voltage is present even in the state where current does not flow through the transmission/distribution line.
      SOLUTION: A power supply device for measuring apparatus of a transmission/ distribution line has a space electrode attached to the transmission/distribution line, and forms a capacitor circuit including a space capacitance between the transmission/ distribution line and the earth, and charges power which has been obtained in the capacitor circuit with an intermittent output to a measuring apparatus. The power supply device includes a protection circuit 302 for converting a voltage obtained on a space electrode 301 to an appropriate voltage to prevent an excessive voltage, a rectifying circuit 303 for converting a voltage from the protection circuit from AC to DC, a charging battery 304 for storing electricity to be outputted from the rectifying circuit, a voltage detector 305 for detecting a voltage of the charging battery, and a voltage generator 307 for intermittently outputting a voltage required for a load 308 of the measuring apparatus from the detected voltage.
