    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish culture conditions suitable for the large scale production of a pharmacologically active filtrate from an Antrodia camphorata culture by optimizing an agitation speed and/or pH value during the culture. SOLUTION: A process for producing the Antrodia camphorata culture having an pharmacological activity, comprises: (a) inoculating a mycelial inoculum of an isolate of Antrodia camphorata into a medium suitable for the growth of the isolate to result in a first culture; (b) subjecting the first culture cultivated in the step (a) to a first stage of agitation which is set at a first predetermined rate and for a first period of time to allow further growth of the inoculated isolate, so as to obtain a second culture proliferation containing the mycelium; and (c) subjecting the second culture obtained in the step (b) to a second stage of agitation which is set at a second predetermined rate different from the first predetermined rate, so as to subject the isolate under physiological stress.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a cost-effective process on an artificial culturing of Antrodiac camphorata. SOLUTION: This process for producing the Antrodiac camphorata culture having pharmacologically activity comprises (a) inoculating a mycelium inoculum of an Antrodiac camphorata isolate into a liquid culture medium suitable for the proliferation of the isolate to obtain the first culture product, (b) supplying the first culture from the process (a) to the first step stirring treatment set to the first period and the first prescribed rate enabling the furthermore culturing of the inoculated isolate to obtain the second culture having the proliferated mycelia, and (c) supplying the second culture obtained from the process (b) to the second step stirring treatment set to the larger second prescribed rate than that of the first prescribed rate to subject the isolate to a treatment under a physiological stress.
