    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base isolation device capable of taking a large range of operation for the size of the device, having an insulating function against the largeness of amplitude, adding a revertive function or a trigger function in addition to the insulating function and enlarging the control of a range of operation as compared with the scale of device.
      SOLUTION: The base isolation device includes an upper supporting shaft 7 supported on a universal supporting section 6 of a skeleton side 2 in a rotatable manner and an intermediate supporting body 10 having a disc-like section 11 movably provided along the axis of an upper supporting shaft 9 supported on a swivel supporting section 8 of the ground side 4 in a rotatable manner, an upper supporting body 12 placed between the disc-like section 11 of the intermediate supporting body 10 and the skeleton side 2 and a lower supporting body 13 placed between the disc-like section 11 of the intermediate supporting body 10 and the ground side 4, and at least one of the upper supporting body 12 and the lower supporting body 13 is made to come into contact with supporting surfaces 14 and 15 formed in the disc-like section 11 of the intermediate supporting body 10 to enable it to make relative displacement. The supporting surfaces can be formed on the upper supporting side 12 or the lower supporting body side 13. The supporting shafts 7 and 9 can be formed into one.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base-isolating device in which a rolling means is suitably guided along a guiding direction of a guiding member, and a smooth relative movement of the rolling means with the guiding member is not obstructed even corresponding to a rapid seismic action in the different direction from the guiding direction.
      SOLUTION: The device is provided with guide rails 68, 69 equipped with guide supporting edges 70, 71 formed to gradually enlarge an interval between mutual outside edges arranged mutually spaced from the center to both the outer edges, and tapered rolling parts 129, 131 rolling in contact therewith from the outside for the guide supporting edges 70, 71, and consisting of circular cross-sections taperingly formed inward. The restoring function is imparted with the displacement in the height direction occurred when the tapered rolling parts 129, 131 move from the center into the outer end side along the guide supporting edges 70, 71. The guide supporting edge formed to gradually lessen the interval between the mutual inside edges of the guide rail from the center into both the outer edges can be also used.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect posts and nets by reducing a wind load when a strong wind blows in excess of a controllable range by cooperation between a wind speed value and net lowering.
      SOLUTION: A windbreak net 1 has the following structure. A plurality of posts 2 are erected at appropriate intervals. On every post 2, a guide wire 13 is fixedly stretched between a post top side fixing part and a ground side anchor 11. For lifting and lowering nets 5 along the guide wires 13, lifting/lowering wires 21 are coupled at one end to hanging wires 20 hanging the nets 5 and are coupled at the other end to a winch 14. The net sides of the lifting/lowering wires 21 have weights 23. The hanging wires 20 are connected to the lifting/lowering wires 21 via wire connectors A. The nets 5 are fixed to horizontal wires 40, which are connected to the hanging wires 20 and supported on the guide wires 20 via net connectors B. At least either the wire connector A or the net connector B is breakable by a wind force of a given wind speed or higher.
