    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a meter electrical junction box which prevents intrusion of dust or the like at the side of an electrical junction box into the side of a meter while suppressing cost by using a box which is common to the meter and the electrical junction box.
      SOLUTION: In the meter electrical junction box 1 in which the meter 2 for automobile and the electrical junction box 3 are integrated, there is formed a box 4 which includes a first accommodation space 21 for accommodating a constituent component of the electrical junction box 3, a second accommodation space 22 for accommodating a constituent component of the meter 2 for automobile, and a partition wall 40 for partitioning the first accommodation space 21 and the second accommodation space 22. Also at the partition wall 40, there are formed a hole 9 for allowing a pin 14 which electrically connects a first base board 11 being a constituent component of the electrical junction box 3 and a second base board 12 being a constituent component of the meter 2 for automobile to pass therethrough, a first dust prevention wall 10a which is cylindrically and erectly formed from the circumference of the hole 9 toward the first base board 11, and a second dust prevention wall 10b which is cylindrically and erectly formed from the circumference of the hole 9 toward the second base board 12.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking mechanism of a connector capable of simultaneously locking a pair of lock arms on a connector receiving section.
      SOLUTION: A case 2 preparing the connector receiving section 22 and a cover 3 are provided on the locking mechanism 1 of a connector. The cover 3 is provided with a base section 30 rotatably mounted on the case 2, a holding section 31 for holding the connector 10 properly fitted to the connector receiving section 22 between the holding section and the connector receiving section 22, and a pair of lock arms 32 respectively ranged on both ends of the base section 30 in a rotary axis direction and locked on the connector receiving section 22 when the holding section 31 holds the connector 10 between the holding section 31 and the connector receiving section 22. A pair of torsion prevention sections 8 for preventing generation of torsion on the cover 3 by coming in contact with both ends of the base section 30 in the rotary axis direction while the base section 30 is located between both ends upon turning the cover 3 to a connector 10 side are provided on the case 2.

SOLUTION: A folding back part 14 is formed at the tip of a large diameter cylinder part 13, and the folding back part 14 continuously has in order a thin cylinder part 22 connecting to the large diameter cylinder part 13 through a hinge; a thick end surface part 23; a car body locking groove part 24; and an outer circumferential piece part 25 surrounding the large diameter cylinder part 13 through a space; and in the insertion into the through hole of the car body, the thin cylinder part 22 of the folding back part 14 and the thick end surface part 23 are continued to the large diameter cylinder part 13 without being folded back, the car body locking groove part 24 is formed so as to have an L-shaped cross section and the inserting side front end is made in small diameter, and when the small diameter part is pushed to the front from the temporary locking state, the thin cylindrical part becomes a double-folded state folded back outside, the car body locking groove becomes a temporarily assembled state forming a U-shaped cross section fitting to the car body through hole, and when the small diameter part is pushed in the front, both ends of the car body locking groove are locked to become a proper locking state.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mount a grommet in body panel hole through a single, easy job of inserting it from one direction. SOLUTION: This grommet is provided with a folded part 5d which is folded back from the end of the outer periphery of a large-diameter cylinder part 5c toward a small-diameter cylinder part and a body locking groove 5e with a U-shaped cross section is formed in the outer peripheral surface of the folded part 5d. At the same time, a locking piece 5g is provided which is projected inward from the end of the folded part 5d which is extended toward the small- diameter cylinder part 5a. A locking step part 5h is projected from the position of the outer peripheral surface of the large-diameter cylinder part 5c corresponding to the body locking groove 5e, and the small-diameter cylinder part 5a is pulled backward to position the locking step part 5h behind the locking piece 5g to lock the locking piece 5g into the locking step part 5h. In this condition, the body locking groove 5e has an L-shaped cross section and the grommet can be passed through a body panel hole 6a, and when the locking piece 5g is unlocked from the locking step part 5h after the grommet is passed through the body panel hole 6a, the body locking groove 5e is restored to the U-shaped cross section and the grommet is fitted into the body panel hole 6a.
