    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat device with a damper comprising a rotating seat member rotatably supported on a fixed side hinge pin and rotatingly biased to either one of the front and rear sides; an operating pin projecting from the rotating seat member; and a damper having a non-rotating portion supported on the hinge pin and a damper ring having a damping arm providing a moving resistance by coming into contact with the operating pin when the rotating seat member reaches near the biasing rotating end and rotatable relative to the non-rotating portion, excellent in work easiness in mounting the damper on the hinge pin, and having no possibility of erroneous assembling.
      SOLUTION: A hole with different diameters and a deformed shaft part identifiable from each other and each having an upper part and a lower part fitted to each other are formed in the non-rotating portion of the damper and the hinge pin, respectively. A front and rear identifying part not interfered with the operating pin of the rotating seat member at a specific position when the directions of the front and rear of the damper ring are correct and interfered with the operating pin when the directions are incorrect is formed on the damper ring of the damper.
