The coating composition for automobiles is characterized by comprising (A) a polyester resin consisting essentially of (a) an aliphatic polybasic acid and/or (b) an alicyclic polyhydric alcohol, (B) an acrylic resin, (C) a polyisocyanate compound, and (D) a resin having alkoxysilyl groups and/or hydroxy groups and dimethylpolysiloxane side chains. 3. The coating composition for automobiles according to Claim 1 or a Claim 2, wherein the resin (D) is an acrylic resin having alkoxysilyl groups and/or hydroxy groups and dimethylpolysiloxane side chains.
