    • PURPOSE:To cool hollow conductors efficiently by a method wherein two adjacent layers of hollow conductor disc-type coils make one pair and one or a plurality of pairs compose one refrigerant circulation path and the outermost layer of each pair is used as a supplying end and a recovery end of the refrigerant. CONSTITUTION:A hollow conductor is wound in layers along the radius direction to form one unit of disc-type 10 or 11. These units are arranged in plural layers and two adjacent disc-type coils 10 and 11 make ne pair. One of the hollow conductors 10a and 11a which occupy the outermost layers of both unit disc-type coils 10 and 11 respectively is used as a supplying end and another is used as a recovery end of the refrigerant. The refrigrant supplied from the hollow conductor 10a circulates in the disc-type coi 10 toward the hollow conductor 10b which occupies the innermost layer to reach the hollow conductor 11b which occupies the innermost layer of the disc-type coil 11 and is recovered from the hollow conductor 11a. With above cnstitution, the circulation path can be shortened and the hollow conductors can be cooled efficiently.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the eddy current loss in a hollow conductor which is wound to form a coil by a method wherein stranded wires are arranged around a hollow pipe through which cooling refrigerant is circulated. CONSTITUTION:A coil conductor 13 is composed of a hollow pipe 11 and stranded wires 12 arranged around the pipe 11. The sectional area of the hollow part 14 of the pipe 11 is determined by the quantity of refrigerant circulated through it but the sectional area of the pipe 11 is determined to be just large enough to maintain mechanical strength as a core of wire stranding. Thus the eddy current loss in this sectional area can be smaller than that in the sectional area of the conductor is not composed of stranded wires and, as the stranded conductors which generate smaller eddy current loss are arranged around the pipe, the eddy current loss of the hollow conductor 13 can be reduced as a whole.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the area of mounting, to miniaturize the whole device and to simplify structure by using a resistance wire for a reactor coil. CONSTITUTION:A device has a reactor coil 1 formed to an air core coil and a vessel 2 into which the reactor coil is housed, insulating oil or an inert insulating gas is sealed into the vessel 2, and insulating bushings 3a, 3b are each mounted to the upper wall 2a and circumferential wall 2b of the vessel. A lead wire 4a drawn out of one end of the reactor coil 1 is lead out of the insulating bushing 3a fitted to the upper wall 2a of the vessel between them, and connected to the neutral point of a star high-tension side winding for a transformer. On the other hand, a lead wire 4b drawn out of the other end of the reactor coil 1 is lead out of the insulating bushing 3b mounted to the circumferential wall 2b of the vessel, and grounded to the ground. A coil winding for the reactor coil 1 is constituted while using a conductor having predetermined specific resistance, a resistance wire, as a blank, and a nonmagnetic metal, such as a copper-nickel alloy, a copper-aluminum alloy, etc. is employed as the material of the conductor.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the area of mounting of the whole reactor device by omitting a series resistor or miniaturizing the series resistor by constituting a reactor coil while using a conductor having predetermined specific resistance as a blank. CONSTITUTION:A reactor coil is constituted while employing a conductor having specific resistance of 5-50muOMEGA.cm as a blank.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device for a reactor coil which is capable of uniformly pressing the coil and preventing the generation of vibration and noise due to the coil.
      SOLUTION: This fixing device comprises three cylindrical coils 3 which are closely set on a supporting plate 2 with their vertical center line positioned in each apex of an equilateral triangle, an iron leg core 4 set on the center of each coil 3, an upper ring iron yoke core 5 set straddling over each iron leg core 4, a plate metal fittings pressing down coil 14 set over each coil 3, and a holddown bolt 11, which is set approximately on each apex of the equilateral triangle beneath each coil holddown 14. One holddown bolt 11 is positioned inside of the upper iron yoke core 5 presses down the coil 3, so that the two other holddown bolts 11 positioned outside of the upper iron yoke core 5 hold down the coil 3 directly.
