    • PURPOSE:To enable to increase the overload capacity by inhibiting the rise of the temperature of the apparatus body by a method wherein a coolant container connected to a container for the body via control valve is provided, and the coolants in both the containers are mixed with each other by opening said valve in operating the overload. CONSTITUTION:When a transformer body 4 turns to overload operation, the control valve 11 is operated by being opened via means for detecting e.g. load current. Then, insulating oils 5 and 10 in both the containers 1 and 9 are mixed with each other because of pressure difference or density difference, and accordingly said oil 5 of high temperature state is cooled by said oil 10 of low temperature state. That is, the same effect as in the case of the extension of a cooler corresponding to the thermal capacity which the oil 10 has can be expected. Particularly the overload operation for a short time is enabled without lifetime loss.

When the indicating temperature of the temperature detector 20 is high, the evaporation loss of a refrigerant liquid 5 is increased, the quantity of heat transport is large and cooling efficiency is high, on the other hand, the number of the air fans 14 and the blowers 11 of the gas coolers 10 operated is increased. Accordingly, the loss of auxiliary machinery by the blowers 11 and the air fans 14 can be reduced on a low temperature, and the titled electrical apparatus can be cooled efficiently on a high temperature.

CONSTITUTION:The temperature of mixed gas 4 in a container 3 is detected by a temperature detector 19 and the gas pressure is not controlled until the temperature reaches the specified value. When the temperature of the mixed gas is not lower than the specified value, pressures in the container 3 and a gas storage 10 are detected by pressure detectors 12, 16 respectively and a pressure controller 11 controls a compressor 13, control valves 14, 17 and the like so as to keep the gas pressure in the container 3 within a specified region. When the temperature of the mixed gas 4 is below the specified value, the pressure is not controlled. By controlling like this, the quantity of responsive gas movement between the container and the gas storage is reduced. Therefore, the volume of the gas storage, the capacity of the compressor and the like can be reduced.

    • PURPOSE:To suppress the fluctuation of the flow rate of evaporated gas due to the fluctuation of atmosphere by connecting a container having specified pressure to a discharging part when the flow rate of the evaporated gas in the very-low-temperature (cryogenit) container is measured. CONSTITUTION:Evaporated gas 3 of a freezing mixture 2 enters into a gas discharging tank 7 through a gas-mass flowmeter 5 with the quantity of heat which intrudes into a very-low-temperature container 1 from the outside. A solenoid valve 11 for adjusting the amount of the discharged gas in the tank 7 is initially 'closed'. The pressure in the tank 7 is increased when the evaporated gas flows in. An air pressure sensor 8 is provided in the tank 7. The output signal from the sensor is sent into a solenoid-valve controlling device 10. When the pressure in the tank 7 reaches the preset pressure value or higher which is slightly higher than atmospheric pressure, the device 10 opens the solenoid valve 11 for adjusting the amount of the discharged gas. The opening degree of the solenoid valve 11 is adjusted and controlled by the output signal of the sensor 8 so that the pressure in the tank 7 becomes constant. Thus, the fluctuation of the flow rate of the evaporated gas is eliminated, and the highly accurate measurement can be performed in a short time.

CONSTITUTION:A superconductive main coil 21 wound on a frame 22 is manufactured in the manner in which magnetic field of high and uniform intensity can be obtained in a necessary magnetic field space (vicinity of theta point) by the coil itself. An active shield coil 23 to reduce leakage magnetic field is wound with inverse polarity so as to generate the inverse magnetic field against the superconductive main coil 21, and constituted in a split coil form having an error component of zero which is comparable or more with the superconductive main coil 21. In the case of parallel excitation of the superconductive main coil and the active shield coil as well as series excitation of them, consideration for source voltage fluctuation and the like is unnecessary, because each coil has no error magnetic field.
