    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of a conventional cutter for cutting a hard wall wherein, when the cutter is used for the outermost circumference of a cutter disk, vibration and noise occur in the cutter disk and a shield body due to friction produced by a contact of the outer circumference of the cutter with a cutting surface. SOLUTION: This cutter is provided in the outermost circumference part of the cutter dirk 1 turning in the front part of the shield machine and formed with prescribed height blade parts 12 and 13 in the cutting outer circumference part of the cutter disk 1. This outermost circumference cutter 8 for the hard wall is provided with a cutting tip 11 which has a vertical rake angle o formed in the turning direction of the cutter disk 1 from the blade parts 12 and 13 to the shield body side, a horizontal rake angle p formed rearward in the turning direction of the cutter disk 1, a vertical clearance angle q formed from the cutting front surface of the cutter disk 1 to the shield body side, and a horizontal clearance angle r formed rearward in the turning direction of the cutter disk 1 so as to efficiently excavate the excavation outermost circumference.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire resistant structure for backfill injection hole in which construction is simplified, work such as check or repair is facilitated and a cut-off performance and fire resistance can surely be secured, and a method of forming the fire resistant structure for the backfill injection hole.SOLUTION: In a backfill injection hole 3 formed in a tunnel segment 1 installed along a wall surface of a natural ground 13, a check valve 19 is installed at a predetermined interval from the natural ground 13, and a space between the check valve 19 and the natural ground 13 is filled with a back filler 51. Next, at a predetermined interval in a tunnel internal vacant direction from the check valve 19, a steel cock 23 is installed which includes a lock portion corresponding to the backfill injection hole 3, a cover portion capable of closing the backfill injection hole 3 and a cock protector lock portion provided in the cover portion. Thereafter, at a tunnel internal vacant side of the cock 23, a ceramics cock protector 27 is installed which has a recess as a lock portion corresponding to the cock 23. The cock protector 27 closes a diameter-expanded portion 11b of the backfill injection hole 3 as a whole.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To absorb a compression force, in a tunnel axis direction, acting on a segment of a shield tunnel.SOLUTION: A steel segment 1 comprises main girders 2a, 2b, joint plates 3, 3, a skin plate 4, a longitudinal rib 5 and a stopper mechanism 6. The joint plate 3 connecting terminal portions of the main girders 2a, 2b with each other are divided into two joint plate members and between these members, a joint connecting plate is interposed. The skin plate 4 is divided into two skin plate members and a cover plate is disposed to cover a gap between these members. The longitudinal rib 5 connects the main girders 2a, 2b with each other between the joint plates 3, 3. One end of the stopper mechanism 6 is connected to the main girder 2a and the other end thereof has a clearance of a predetermined distance L between the other end and the main girder 2b. In the case where a compression force in a tunnel axis direction acting on the steel segment 1 is a predetermined value or more, the longitudinal rib 5 is buckled plastically to absorb the compression force. When plastic buckling of the longitudinal rib 5 is advanced and the stopper mechanism 6 is brought into contact with the main girder 2b, the stopper mechanism 6 supports the compression force.
