SOLUTION: When a bit body 10 is worn out by a predetermined amount, a rod 9 is protruded to a face side from a guide hole 8 by elongating a jack 11 depending on the amount of abrasion, so that the radius of cutting by the bit body 10 can be returned to a state before the abrasion. When the abrasion of the bit body 10 has further progressed, the jack 11 is contracted and separated from the rod 9 on the anti-face side of the cutter head 2, so that the rod 9 can be extracted from the guide hole 8, and the bit body 10 is replaced singly or integrally with the rod 9.
