SOLUTION: In a diesel engine, constituted such that the injection quantity of a fuel injection pump 10 at a full load position is controlled by receiving the rocking and abutting section 15 of a centrifugal governor 1 at the tip section of a fuel-limiting bolt 16, the bolt 16 is protruded downward in a governor case 42 and has a lubricant reservoir section 37 and a guide groove 38 for guiding the lubricant leaking from the reservoir section 37. This constitution enables supply of lubricant to the abutting section between the rocking and abutting section 15 and the tip section of the fuel-limiting bolt 16, and the increase in fuel injection quantity caused by the wearing of the bolt 16 can be restrained.

SOLUTION: This cylinder head gasket is applicable for an engine having a head bolt hole 4 in the vicinity of a cylinder bore 2. First and second layers 8 and 9 formed of a metallic material are formed and curves parts 13 are formed in a manner to be curved in a protrusion shape toward the respective inner sides of the first and second layers 8 and 9. A pair of the curved parts 13 are positioned facing each other to form a high surface pressure part 10. The high surface pressure part 10 is formed in a belt-like state at the periphery of the cylinder bore 2. By fastening of a cylinder bolt, a pair of the curved parts 13 are deformed into a flat state and this way increases the surface pressure of the high surface pressure part 10.

SOLUTION: In the mechanical governor of a diesel engine wherein a governor lever shaft 1 is covered with a sleeve 2, and a governor lever 3 is pivotally and rockably supported on the sleeve 2, and a groove 4 in which a circlip is fitted is formed in the sleeve 2, and a circlip 5 is fitted in this groove 4 to prevent the governor lever 3 from slipping out, when the circlip 5 is rotated by pushing one end section 5a of the circlip 5 in the groove 4, the other end 5b of the circlip 5 abuts on the governor lever 3, stopping the rotation of the circlip 5. When the circlip 5 is rotated by pushing one end section 5a of the circlip 5 in the groove 4 with the tip of a tool such as a driver abutting on one end section 5a of the circlip 5, the other end section 5b abuts on the governor lever 3, stopping the rotation of the circlip 5. Therefore, the circlip 5 is easily removed only by raising the one end section 5a diagonally.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the disturbance element of governor control caused by uneven wear of rolling rollers with cost reduction for a fork lever. SOLUTION: A governor lever 7 is formed of a sheet metal member capable elastic deformation. A pair of right and left leg parts 7c, 7c and roller bearing parts 7d, 7d are integrally formed at the base end input part of the governor lever 7 with a governor shaft 3 strided. A slit hole 15 having elastic deformation by abutting pressure to a governor sleeve 6 is formed at the side close to the leg part of each roller bearing part 7d. Rolling rollers 14, 14 are provided at both the right and left sides of the slit hole 15 by sandwiching each roller bearing part 7d. The rolling rollers 14, 14 are constituted so as to uniformly press and abut to the other end face 6b of the governor sleeve 6 by means of the tensile force of a governor spring.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the amount of black smoke mixed in exhaust during hot starting of an engine while controlling the cost increase of a governor. SOLUTION: A governor input lever 7 connected with a fuel metering rack of a fuel injection pump is connected to a speed control lever via a governor spring, and a governor sleeve 14 is fitted slide-free onto a governor shaft 15. The governor input lever 7 is made to contact an end face of the governor sleeve 14. In cold starting of an engine, the fuel metering rack is energized to be located at the start-up extension position. In hot starting, the wax 44 filled in an inner space 43 of the governor sleeve 14 melts and expands and thereby the governor input lever 7 is pushed by the governor sleeve 14 towards the side of decreasing fuel and the fuel metering rack is moved to a start-up extension control position which is displaced from the start-up extension position toward the side of decreasing fuel.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the machining cost of an oil return passage faced to an oil ring groove by reducing the compression height of a piston. SOLUTION: The lower surface 12 of the oil ring groove 4 of a piston 1 is arranged lower than the upper surface 14 of a piston pin hole 7, and at least a part of the oil ring groove 4 is communicated with the piston pin hole 7 so that a communicating part 15 is formed as an oil return passage 8. The oil ring groove 4 is overlapped in the piston pin hole 7 so as to reduce the compression height of the piston 1. Hereby, there is of advantage to the miniaturization and weight reduction of the whole piston, reduction of a slap sound, suppression of the whole height of an engine, improvement of an exhaust amount, and so on. At least a part of the oil ring groove 4 is communicated with the piston pin hole 7 so as to form the oil return passage 8 so that there is no requirement for drilling the oil return passage.
