    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce disturbance of governor control by reducing locomotive resistance of a governor sleeve towards the shaft center and early wear of the functioning part of a governor weight. SOLUTION: This Diesel engine centrifugal spark advancer is composed so that a governor lever 7 fluctuates to the fuel reduction side L through a governor sleeve 6 externally fitted to a governor shaft 3 in a freely slidable manner by making the the functioning part 5a of a governor weight 5 integrally rotating with the governor shaft 3 abut on the end surface 6a on one of the sides of the governor sleeve 6. It is also composed so that the governor shaft 3 and the governor sleeve 6 may integrally rotate with each other by a plurality of balls 4b, which are provided on the inner surface of the governor sleeve 6 in a freely rotatable manner, engaging with a plurality of spline grooves 4a, which are recessedly provided on the governor shaft 3. Spline grooves 4a are provided with a specific inclination angle θ with respect to a governor shaft center Z so that locomotive resistance of the governor sleeve 6 externally fitted to the governor shaft 3 may reduce when the engine is accelerated or decelerated.
