    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve the vertical movement control performance by damper adjustment with vertical movement control sensitivity, traveling speed during planting work and traveling acceleration and deceleration, etc., as conditions. SOLUTION: This vertical movement controller is provided with an automatic vertical movement control means B capable of stably maintaining the height level to the ground of a planting device by arranging parallel a suspension spring and a damper 12, serially connecting them to a hydraulic cylinder 8 for vertical movement and switching and operating the control valve 24 of the hydraulic cylinder 8 based on the vertical movement detection of a ground float 22 and a sensitivity setting dial 30 for adjusting the vertical movement control sensitivity. In this case, the damper 12 is constituted to an attenuation force adjustment type and a sensitivity/damper control means C for linking the sensitivity setting dial 30 and the damper 12 so as to strengthen attenuation force when the vertical movement control sensitivity is operated to a sensitive side and weaken the attenuation force when the vertical movement control sensitivity is operated to an insensitive side is provided.
