    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the action of a ball unit, and to increase a life span, in an eccentric thrust bearing using the ball unit for increasing a load capacity and improving action smoothness. SOLUTION: The layout relation of moving pins 30, 31 of a moving race 11 and fixed pins 40, 41 of a fixed race 12 to through holes 22, 23 formed in on a cage ring 14 of the ball unit 13 equipped to the eccentric thrust bearing 10, is specified. Therefore, the cage ring 14 is made to follow the moving race 11 with eccentric turning and the rotating of the moving race 11, and the action of the cage ring 14 is regulated in a diameter direction without backlash.     • PURPOSE: To improve the root strength and lubricity of a column part by a method wherein two sides positioned back to back are formed in parallel to each other at a column part between adjoining pockets, and a protrusion part protruded to the pocket side is formed on a region on the outside diameter side. CONSTITUTION: Pockets 11 to contain respective needle-form rollers 9 are arranged at a plurality of spots on the periphery of a cage 10. A column part 13 between the adjoining pockets 11 having two sides (S) positioned back to back and set in parallel or approximately in parallel to each other. Further, protrusion parts 14 protruded toward the central side of the pocket 11 are formed on respective regions situated in the intermediate position in an axial direction of each column part 13 and closer to the outside diameter side than a central part in a radial direction. This constitution prevents pull-off protection of the needle- form roller 9 to the inner and outer diameter sides and a strength at the inner peripheral portion of the column part 13 is improved. Further, in the cage 10, a separation part where two each of protrusion parts 16 and the protrusion parts 14 formed on the side wall surfaces of the respective column parts 13 are axially separated away from each other forms reversely a recessed part, and the recessed part ensures excellent lubricity of the needle-form rollers 9 in the pocket 11.
