摘要： PURPOSE:To ensure superior durability in repeated use and in use by still reproduction by using perfluoroalkyl polyether holding cations as a lubricant forming a lubricative layer. CONSTITUTION:This magnetic recording medium has a magnetic layer a-2 on the nonmagnetic substrate and a lubricative layer a-4 for lubricating the magnetic layer a-2 on the magnetic layer a-2 and perfluoroalkyl polyether holding cations is used as a lubricant forming the lubricative layer a-4. This perfluoroalkyl polyether holding cations maintains the lubricity of oil over a long time, inhibits the sticking of oil to a magnetic head and running pins due to flocculation and can impart stable characteristics over a long time.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic recording medium having strong abrasion resistance and high corrosion resistance by coating the surface of the nonmagnetic supporter of polyester with an organic solvent dissolving a polyester oligomer and forming an undercoating layer containing a water insoluble resin and fillers and a constituting layer comprising a ferromagnetic metallic thin-film layer. CONSTITUTION:A foundation layer 6 and an undercoating layer 7 are formed onto a nonmagnetic supporter 1, and a magnetic layer 2 is shaped onto the undercoating layer 7 and a protective layer 4 further onto the magnetic layer 2. A back coating layer 3 and a lubricating layer 5 may also be formed. A polyester oligomer is dissolved by using a solvent such as chloroform on the supporter 1 and a foundation is prepared and employed as the foundation layer 6, and the undercoating layer 7 is shaped onto the foundation layer 6 by a water insoluble resin such as poltethylene terephthalate while containing organic particles such as polystyrene, colloidal particles such as Al2O3 etc., as fillers. The magnetic layer 2 formed onto the undercoating layer 7 is shaped through a vacuum thin-film forming technique such as a vacuum deposition method from a ferromagnetic metallic material such as Fe, Co, a Co-Ni alloy, etc.
