    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration in quality due to a heat generated in laser processing for forming an electrode and oxidation occurring upon removing a catalyst. SOLUTION: There is disclosed a method of manufacturing an inkjet print head for ejecting ink from a channel. After the catalyst is absorbed to a member A including a piezoelectric material, the member A is dipped into a liquid and a part of the catalyst is removed by emitting a laser light D thereto and the catalyst which is not removed by the laser light D is subjected to a plating treatment, and then a desired plating film is formed to form an electrode having a desired film thickness. After the catalyst is absorbed to the member A, the member A is dipped into a plating liquid to apply a plating treatment thereto and the laser light is emitted to a part of the member A during the plating treatment, and then a desired plating film is formed at the part which is not removed by the laser light D to form a desired plated film, thereby forming an electrode having a desired film thickness.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form connecting electrodes and electrodes of a high-speed, high- image quality and high-density ink jet printing head in a combination of plating and laser patterning, and form a high-density and solid wiring by removing unnecessary parts by a laser during plating or before plating simply as compared with the conventional method in which patterns are formed by removing unnecessary electrodes and a plating metal by the laser after plating. SOLUTION: In a method of manufacturing the ink jet printing head for jetting ink from channels by forming the channels to a member including a piezoelectric body, impressing a voltage to the electrodes set to the piezoelectric body and driving the piezoelectric body, at least one side face and a bottom face of a channel plate having grooves for a plurality of the channels are plated with a catalyst adsorbed, whereby a plating thin film thinner than a desired film thickness is formed. Then, the plating thin film is partly removed by a laser beam and plated again. As a result, a further plating film is formed on the plating thin film not removed by the laser beam. Electrodes of the desired film thickness are formed accordingly.

    • PURPOSE:To possess a function for making a magnetic head follow curling of a film at both ends by providing two arm parts consisting of elastic members inclined from both ends of a fixing part and equipping 1st supporting arms of extensions of these two arm parts intersecting a track middle part of the head. CONSTITUTION:The arm parts in the 1st supporting arms 2a1, 2a2, 2b1 and 2b2 are formed with their extensions to be intersected in the track middle part of the head, and when the film is curled at right angles to its traveling direction, no track deviation takes place even upon an angular change of the head. Film guides 5a and 5b are fixed to 1st supporting parts 4a and 4b so as to make their space from each other narrower than the width of the film by approximately 1mm, where 2nd supporting arms 3a1, 3a2, 3b1 and 3b2 as of parallel leaf springs are provided. Consequently, the heads 1a and 1b engaged always with both ends of the film are also moved parallel to the film surface by the film guides 5a and 5b, so that a relative surface angle between the film surface and the head surfaces is not changed at all.
