摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain good electrostatic charging characteristics, by sealing fluid core materials consisting of a mixture of liquid materials which cure in an oxygen-contg. atmosphere and wax in capsules consisting of vinyl resin. CONSTITUTION:Capsules are made of a resin formed by polymn. of vinyl polymerizable polymers, and a mixture obtd. by mixing curableliquid materials having the characteristic that they cure when left standing in contact with air and wax is sealed as a fluid core material into said capsules. Coloring materials are usually incorporated in the fluid core materials, or further in the wall films of capsules. The curable liquid materials are esters of unstad. fatty acids such as linolic acid, linolenic acid and oleic acid, vegetable oils such as drying oil or semi-drying oil, copolymers of acetylene and butadiene, and synthetic drying oil such as dicyclopentadiene oligomer.

摘要： PURPOSE:To improve the antistatic power, abrasion resistance and adhesion of a photographic sensitive material by forming a nonsensitive layer contg. a specified high-molecular compound on at least one surface of the material. CONSTITUTION:On a support >=1 photographic (silver halide) emulsion layers are formed to manufacture an electrophotographic sensitive material, and a nonsensitive layer is formed on the emulsion layer side of the material and/or the back side of the support by applying a 5-100mg/m high-molecular compound such as lauryl acrylate polymer having 10,000-5,000,000mol.wt., insoluble in water or a developer and contg. >=20wt% repeating units represented by the formula (where R is H or methyl and R is 12-14C straight chain alkyl). As a result, when the surface layer of the sensitive material contacts with other surface layer, it hardly adheres and abrades even at high temp. and humidity, and the occurrence of fog is almost prevented.

摘要： PURPOSE:To finely disperse hydrophobic substances in a constituent layer. CONSTITUTION:Hydrophobic substances are dispersed in a polymer latex prepared by copolymerizing a monomer represented by general formula I with a hydrophobic monomer, and the dispersion is added to a constituent layer. Methacrylic ester, methacrylamide, vinyl ester, styrene or the ike is used as the hydrophobic monomer. The monomer of formula I is constituted by 0.1-40wt%. The hydrophobic substances include a coupler, an ultraviolet absorber and a DIR compound. A finely pulverizing process using a colloid mill is made unncessary. Substances apt to undergo air oxidation or having high reactivity can be dispersed.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a pressure fixing toner having uniform grain size and high resolving power by dispersing and suspending oil drop consisting of coloring agent, a polymerizable monomer and a material which is liquid at an ordinary temp. in an aq. system then polymerizing the monomer thereby forming the outside wall of suspended particle. CONSTITUTION:In a process for production of a pressure fixing toner, a polymerizable monomer which is liquid or powder is mixed and dissolved in a material which is liquid at an ordinary temp. The resultant soln. and coloring agent are mixed. and the compsn. is suspended and dispersed in a dispersion medium, thereby pulverizing the compsn. While the fine particles are suspended and dispersed, the reacting conditions for the polymerizable monomer are set, and the polymerizable monomer is polymerized to form an insoluble polymer in the liquid material and to form the outside wall of the suspended particle whereby the liquid material is covered. Thus the pressure fixing toner which has uniform grain size and high resolving power, does not cause any inconvenience such as flocculation on long-term storage and sticks less on the surface of photoreceptors is easily produced.

A layer contg. said high molecular compound may be further formed on the uppermost sensitive layer. Thus, a sensitive material is obtd. which is not adhered even if superposed, undergoes no damage during handling and exerts no unfavorable influence on other photographic characteristics.
