摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high monodispersion degree and excellent production stability by continuously preparing a silver halide in a mixer outside of a reaction vessel and then supplying the silver halide to the reaction vessel to use the silver halide as a nuclei or supply source of growth. SOLUTION: After a halide soln. and a silver nitrate soln. are supplied to source soln. vessels 1 and 1'. respectively, both solns. are supplied to a mixer 3 while controlling each flow amt. by flow controlling devices 2, 2' to form silver halide particles in the mixer 3. A switching valve 8 disposed between the mixer 3 and a reaction vessel 4 is controlled by a computer 7 so that the silver halide emulsion produced in the mixer 3 is sent through a flow path 9 to the outside of the reaction vessel 4 till the data of a sensor 6 reaches the predetermined range. When the data reaches the predetermined range, the switching valve 8 is operated by the computer 7 to start to send the silver halide emulsion formed in the mixer 3 to the reaction vessel 4. However, the reaction vessel 4 has such a structure that the halide soln. and the silver nitrate soln. can be independently added to the vessel.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure high sensitivity and sharpness and improve particle conditions by providing a phosphor layer containing stimulable phosphor grains having a specified average dia. on a support. SOLUTION: A water solution containing BaI2 and halogenide of rare earth element such as Y, La, Ce and having a concentration of about 2N or more is prepared. This solution is added with solution of inorganic fluoride having a concentration of about 5N or more while the temp. of the former is maintained at about 50 deg.C or more, and thus precursor crystalline sediment of stimulable phosphor of alkaline earth metal fluorohalide activated by rare earth element is provided. The sediment is separated from the water sulution and baked while preventing its sintering. With the average dia. of the phosphor particles made to be about 0.1-3μm (the particle dia. of about 10wt.% thereof made to be 0.1-1μm), the phosphor layer is formed on a support. In this case, the charge ratio of the particle is made 60% or more, and the rare earth element is made to be of high concentration in the phosphor particle. According to the above method, an image converting panel with a high sensitivity and sharpness, and excellent in its particle condition is provided.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a photographic emulsion having a state of dye agglomeriate leading the photochemically and chemically improved photographic characteristics by controlling the emulsion temp. whenever at least one kind of a spectrally sensitizing dye is added to the silver halide photographic emulsion by splitting it. CONSTITUTION:Among the sensitizing dyes to be absorbed, just before the addition of 10-50% of it or just after the addition, the emulsion temp. is raised as high as 70-80 deg.C and is aged for as long as 5-30min. The rise of the temp., just before the addition or just after it, is desirable at such an extent that the added sensitizing dye is not divided and the aggromerate is formed rapidly. The aging time is preferably to be completed when the formation of J- aggromerate is substantially finished. The silver halide photographic emulsion finishing the aging is at once cooled to about 50 deg.C and the residual sensitizing dye is added. At this time, the emulsion temp. is desirable in such an extent that the sensitizing dyes themselves absorbed in a molecular state can form J-aggromerate.
