In addition, the sum L/D of the shaft lengths L1 /D and L2 /D of the rotor segments 15A, 15B at the two spots is set at 7.2 or more. Besides, the chip clearance δ/D between the rotor segments 15A, 15B is set at 0.04 or less.

By this constitution, air or adsorbed volatile matter involved at the time of the supply of the materials from the feed part 2 is separated from the materials.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device for an extruder wherein noises are low, and a seizure accident is hard to occur by arranging a speed reduction gear mechanism at a location wherein the revolution number drastically decreases. SOLUTION: This driving device for an extruder is equipped with a main motor 4, a planet gear mechanism 5, an output distribution gear mechanism 8, a connecting means 18, and thrust bearings 19 and 20. In this case, the planet gear mechanism 5 has a driving input section 12 which is driven by the main motor 4, and an output section 14 which outputs the driving force by reducing the revolution number of the main motor 4. The output distribution gear mechanism 8 distributes the driving force from the output section 14 of the planet gear mechanism 5 to a plurality of rotor driving shafts 6 and 7 being in parallel with each other. The connecting means 18 connects the one-end sides of respective rotor driving shafts 6 and 7 with a plurality of rotors 2 and 3 on the extruder side. The thrust bearings 19 and 20 support the other end sides of respective rotor driving shafts 6 and 7 in order to receive the thrust force from respective rotors 2 and 3. In such a driving device for the extruder, a speed change gear mechanism 9 in order to regulate the revolution numbers of the rotor driving shafts 6 and 7 by exchanging the gear with a gear having a different gear ratio is provided between the planet gear mechanism 5 and the output distribution gear mechanism 8.

The feed blade 22 is so formed that a torsion angle 6 in axial region L1 corresponding to a diameter D of the rotor 17 (i.e., D=L1 ) becomes 140 deg. to 300 deg.. Then, a total length of the first kneading part 10 is preferably integral times that in the axial region L1 .
