摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a water chamber of an underwater pelletizer in which an opening/closing window cannot be opened in the presence of hot water in the water chamber irrespective of operation state or the stop state. CONSTITUTION:A water chamber 4 mounted on the top end of an extrusion cylinder for producing resin pellets is provided with a hot water supply tube 11 for supplying hot water into the water chamber 4 and a hot water discharge tube 15 for discharging pellets produced in the water chamber 4 outside the water chamber 4 together with hot water. Furthermore, an opening/closing window 13 is provided for freely closing an open part provided on a side wall of the water chamber 4, a fixing member 16 is provided for fixing the closed opening/closing window 13, a locking device 25 is provided for inhibiting the fixing member 16 from changing from a fixing state to a non-fixing state, and a hot water detector 31 is provided for detecting the presence of hot water in the water chamber 4.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain the underwater-cut granulating apparatus, whose cleaning is easy, by providing the constitution, wherein a water chamber and a die can be separated, and the connection of the water chamber and the starting of a feeder are performed by the operation of a switch. CONSTITUTION:A water chamber 2 is mounted on a truck 18. A hydraulic cylinder 12 is attached to the truck 18. One end of a piston 13 is fixed to a floor surface. The ports A and B of the hydraulic cylinder 12 are connected to a selector valve B2. When the selector valve B2 is set at the side of the port A, the truck 18 advances, and the water chamber 2 and the die 3 are connected. When the valve is set at the side of the port B, the chamber 2 and the die 3 are separated. When an operating switch SW is closed, a feeder 10 is operated. Resin is supplied into a gear pump 1 through a kneading machine 11. The pressure of the resin is detected with a pressure gage PIC. The selector valve B2, is changed to the side of the port A before and after the operation of the feeder 11, and the water chamber 2 and the die 3 are connected. The connection is detected with a limit switch LS. When the resin pressure reaches the specified pressure, the supply of cooling water PCW and the operations of the gear pump 1 and a cutting blade 4 are started.
