摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for treating alkali cleaning liquid, which is capable of exactly removing soaps from a cleaning liquid without need of adding any additives. SOLUTION: The method for treating the alkali cleaning liquid containing soaps comprizes cooling the alkali cleaning liquid in order to deposit the soaps and removing the deposited soaps. The suitable treating apparatus for carrying out the process mentioned above is provided with a storage tank 1 for storing the alkali cleaning liquid 20, a cooler 2 for cooling the alkali cleaning liquid which is stored in the storage tank 1 so as to deposit the soaps, and a separator 3 for separating and removing the soaps 21 deposited by cooling.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rolling mill lubricant composition which efficiently adheres to a roll or a material in rolling and is excellent in oil-water separation properties by compounding a base oil selected from among mineral oils, etc., with a cationic polymeric compound having a specified number average mol.wt. SOLUTION: The base oil comprises at least one substance selected from among mineral oils, natural oils or fats, synthetic esters and synthetic hydrocarbons. The cationic polymeric compound is a copolymer formed from (A) at least one compound represented by formula I or II and (B) at least one compound selected from among (meth)acrylic esters, vinyl alcohol derivatives, fumaric esters and maleic esters each having an alkyl or alkenyl group, preferably in a wt. ratio of A/B of (1/5)-(5/1), and has a number average mol.wt. of 3,000-1,000,000. Preferably, the polymeric compound is contained in a concentration of 10-5,000 ppm in the composition. In the formulas, R1 to R3 are each H or CH3; R4 and R5 are each 1-3C alkyl; and n is 3-5. The composition is used preferably in cold rolling or hot rolling.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent plate thickness variation and to reduce the pump driving power by detecting an oil film thickness in a static pressure bearing, comparing the film thickness with a standard thickness, and controlling a supply amount of high pressurized oil based on the deviation value found by the comparison. CONSTITUTION:A non-contact displacement gage 24 is mounted on a bushing 4 of a static pressure bearing for a backup roll 1 and a servo motor 26 for supply amount adjustment of a high pressurized oil supply pump 12 and an oil film thickness gage setter 27 are also installed. A required oil film thickness is previously set by the setter 27 and an actual oil film thickness during rolling is detected by the gage 24. Then, a deviation of the detection value of the oil film thickness from the standard oil film thickness by the setter 27 is found and a high pressurized oil supply amount of the pump 12 is adjusted through the motor 26 according to the deviation amount. Thus, an oil film thickness in the bearing is kept constant under a rolling load changing condition. Therefore, plate thickness variation is prevented and the driving power of the pump 12 is reduced.

摘要： PURPOSE:To dissolve the choking of devices by slimes and to contrive the reduction of the maintenance cost and stabilization of the operation of the water circulating system, by a method wherein ozone is injected in the water at the entrance side of the devices such as a heat exchanger and strainers of the water supplying system, and slimes are sterilized and stripped off. CONSTITUTION:A heat-up brine pump 32 is operated after the ozone adsorption operation is repeated and necessary ozone is adsorbed, and heat-up medium in a brine tank 31 is sent in a heat-up fin 30 in an adsorption tower 26, and when the temperature in the tower becomes about 0 deg.C, the injection of ozone is begun. Next, an ejector pump 22 is started and after an ejector 21 has begun normal operation, a control valve 35 of an ozon supplying pipe from the ozone adsorption tower 26 to the ejector 21 is opened and the ejector 21 performs reaction and mixing of ozone containing gas and treating water. By repeating above-mentioned operation, ozone can be intermittently injected in the treating water at the necessary ozone density. Thus, slimes are sterized and stripped off, and the choking of the devices is dissolved and the operation can be stabilized.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the occurrence of fire and extend the life by using a flame resisting rubber in a plurality of mutually longitudinally separated positions of a coating rubber, and using a rubber having a characteristic different from the flame resisting rubber in the remaining part. SOLUTION: As a flame retardant rubber 3a, a one having the flame resistance grade regulated in JIS K 6324 corresponding to 3 is used. When the wear resistance of a belt is improved, at least a general rubber 3a on the carrying matter placing surface side may be changed to wear resisting rubber. The flame resisting rubber 3a is used for the lateral side end parts of the belt 1, and the general rubber 3c is used for the other part. According to this, even if the side end of the belt makes contact with a frame or the like and ignites, it leads to a fire. The range for using the flame resisting rubber 3a is suitably set to 50-100 mm from the side ends of the belt 1. When it is less than 50 mm, the general rubber 3c adjacent to the flame resisting rubber 3a is partially burnt, and when it exceeds 100 mm, the effect is not improved, but the cost is increased.
