    • PURPOSE:To prevent electric shock accidents under the noload voltage in the touch sensing system of underwater dry arc welding, by supplying a preparation alarm current to the audiovisual alarm circuit interposed for the base metal and the electrode circuit at the noload voltage applying time and by cutting of this current in the arc start enable state. CONSTITUTION:In TIG welding device 1 as an underwater dry arc welding device, the cathode and the anode are connected to the electrode of torch 2 and material 3 to be welded through circuits 4 and 5, respectively, and relay circuit CR6, buzzer CR 7 as an audiovisual alarm circuit, and relay 8 are interposed in parallel between circuits 4 and 5. When a noload voltage is applied across electrode 2 and material 3 to be welded, buzzer 7 is operated through contact relays 6 and 8 to report voltage applying to the worker. When the alarm current is applied to said alarm circuit, interclock mechanism 9 is operated to lock welding start device 10 electrically. Next, when electrode 2 is brought into contact with material 3 to be welded to perform arc start, the alarm circuit is closed, and the worker operates start switch 11 to perform prescribed arc welding by device 10.

    • PURPOSE:To accurately perform the welding of the works making curvature biasing deformation by swiveling the welding desk forward and backward in follow up to the weld line by the detecting signal of a curvature biasing detecting mechanism. CONSTITUTION:When the detecting end 20 at the end of one detecting rod 19a of a curvature biasing detecting mechanism 17 displaces relatively with the detecting end 20 of the other detecting rod 19b, the mechanism sends the detecting signal to a swivelably driving source 16 and a longitudinal driving source 12 as well as a carriage driving mechanism. Upon receiving the signal, the swivelably driving source 16 revolves the driving shaft 22 of a swiveling mechanism 21 forward in the arrow H direction to revolve a sector swivel 27 forward in the arrow C direction, thereby advancing a welding desk 4 via a driving mechanism 13 while swiveling the welding desk 4 in the same direction, and accurately welding the weld line along its curvature R1. In the curvature R2 part, the driving shaft 22 of the swiveling mechanism 21 is revolved backward in the arrow I direction by the detection signal to oppose the welding head accurately to the curvature R2 of the weld line while resetting the secctor swivel plate 27 and the welding desk 4, whereby the proper welding is accomplished.

    • PURPOSE:To make the whole titled welding machine small-sized and light so as to be carried easily, by providing a friction welding means on a frame freely reciprocatably, and compactly mounting a prime mover driving the rotary shaft of the friction welding means and a reciprocation driving means, to the frame. CONSTITUTION:A frame 1 is constituted of a pair of leg plates 1a and a top plate 1b, and to one leg plate 1a, a frame body 2a is fitted freely reciprocatably in the directions A, B through a guide groove part 1d. On the frame body 2a, a rotary shaft 2b is provided through a bearing, and to the rotary shaft 2b, a chuck 2c and a pulley 2d are fixed. The pulley 2d is connected to a prime mover 4 installed to the frame body 2a, through a belt. Also, as for a reciprocation driving means 3, the tip of a piston rod 3a of an oil pressure cylinder is made to pass through the top plate 1b and is connected to the frame body 2a. In this regard, on the frame 1, a fastening means 5 fastened to a substrate is provided. In this way, it becomes possible to carry the welding machine to a desired position, and friction welding to a large structure can be executed.
