    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to optimally adjust dispersion effect in accordance with a quantity of powdery raw material and a flow rate of gas, by a device with a simple constitution. SOLUTION: A powdery raw material is charged into ascending gas 24 in a duct 23 from a charge chute 25. A dispersion plate 22 is provided on a connection part in order to allow it to adequately disperse into the ascending gas 24. The dispersion plate 22 enables to displace with rocking around a rocking shaft 26, and protrudes into the charge chute 25 up to 1/2 of the inside diameter D of the max. charge chute 25 in a state that a plate surface is vertical against a shaft line 25a. The plate 22 is provided so that it does not protrude in the duct 23 up to only a distance not disordering a flow of the ascending gas 24 and not increasing pressure drop at time of rocking displacement. Both ends of the rocking shaft 26 are protruded to the outside from a casing 21, and by being performed angular displacement, an angle of the dispersion plate 22 is adjusted, thus the dispersion effect of raw material can be adequately adjusted.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rotary kiln, in which wear to be caused by sliding between a tire and under-tire liners, guide pieces of the liners, etc., is prevented, the service lives of those members are prolonged, works for maintenance and expense for repairing are reduced, and replacement of the under-tire liner and keys is facilitated. SOLUTION: The tire 3 has recessed grooves 4 formed peripherally in the inside periphery at intervals. An under-tire liner 5 is removably attached peripherally at intervals on a drum 2 under the groove 4. The liner 5 is protruded partly axially from both sides of the tire 3, and is supported by liner holders 6 at both ends thereof. A liner guide 8 is placed astride adjacent under-tire liners 5 on the drum 2 in the outside of the tire 3. The guide 8 is welded on the drum 2. A guide piece 9 is secured in contact with peripheral faces on both sides of the tire 3 on the liner guide 8. A key 7 is secured almost axially on the under-tire liner 5 below each groove 4. A wedge 13 is inserted between the side face of each groove 4 and the side face of the key 7.
